Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- John H53 contributionsQuite extensive castle with good views of old city. Easy to miss bits as labelling not the greatest. Along with Cathedral and old town Trento is well worth a day. Would recommend as day trip from north of Lake Garda only 40 mins on bus from RivaWritten 22 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John H53 contributionsBeautiful square in a really attractive city, with a great cathedral and castle Trento is worth a day of anyone’s time. We got bus from Riva on Lake Garda about half an hour cheap and a terrific day out.Written 22 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cristiano D'AdamoNapa, CA239 contributionsUpon reservation, though we were lucky since did not have one and they had availability, and at no cost to you, the museum will make a private kennel available for your dog. They are located just outside and are quite spacious. A full visit will take about 2 hours which is the time you can use the kennel. The museum itself if an architectural marvel but also a wonderful exhibition with many interactive stations. Signage in English is everywhere. Clean bathrooms, nice little cafe and a clear-view elevator to go between floors. A cab ride from downtown is €12, or you can take the bus or walk.Written 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NarelleoGlen Waverley, Australia38 contributionsThis guided tour takes you to a massive waterfall, but one that has a history and a purpose behind it.
The man made retaining walls (at thirty-eight metres, the first was breached so a second was constructed further along), stop rocks and sediment, allowing the water to cascade in spectacular torrents, over the sides. The ravine rockwalls beyond the waterfalls are alive with plants, and the water seeping through the walls makes for a surreal experience.
The final part of the tour takes you to a platform below the waterfall. An incredible view of thousands of litres of water, spilling violently over the edge, right in front of you.
Highly recommend Simone, our tour guide, who did a fantastic job of taking us through, while speaking in both his native Italian and in English, just for the benefit of my English speaking husband.
One tip.. make sure you prebook, online. There may be a waiting period.
We did this in late Spring, after heavy rains in the weeks before. This made for a spectacular experience.Written 2 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Saraid MSligo, Ireland42 contributionsA must-see if you are in the area. I was lucky enough to have a private tour & tasting with Sharon from the hospitality team who was a wonderful host. There is a lovely mix between history and modernity. Everything about the property exudes class and elegance . Great story, great setting and great sparkling wines.Written 6 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tia M5 contributionsReally recommend visiting this museum containing evidence of what's right under your feet in Trento--Roman homes, water pipes, etc.Written 28 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Hannah FFlorence, Italy1 contributionMy friends and I had a wonderful visit to Cantine Moser! We had made a reservation that we were more than an hour late for (side note, don't try to bike to this vineyard!), but the staff were very friendly and still gave us a tour and tasting. The wines were excellent, and they even let us sample a few outside of the tasting. The views were stunning and the personal touches throughout the buildings really made this a lovely and unique experience!Written 11 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rachel55_11Sheffield, UK112 contributionsBook your Tower Tour (2 euros) at the castle entrance and you will be given a time. The guide we asked didn't speak English but we managed to find the starting point without too much trouble.
The audio guide is very good and gives lots of useful information with enough time to take it all in. The Cycle of the Months frescoes are really interesting with art depicting life at the time, e.g. more important people always painted bigger than less important people.
Without the audio guide you would miss an awful lot in the frescoes so it is well worth doing.Written 21 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
