We found great results, but some are outside Italian Riviera. Showing results in neighbouring cities.

The very knowledgeable guide took the 3 of us round and explained the history and all the details of the church, cloisters and museum including the beautiful works of art, sculpture, frescoes and architecture.
Some ladies organised a 'friends of the church' group and will take you through the sacristy, cloisters and a little museum which are closed to the general public.

There is so much to see within these three museums, including plenty of artwork (my highlight being Andrea Sacchi's 'Daedalus and Icarus'), also beautiful gardens and absolutely sensational views from the terrace...

Many museums we visit are good and few are great, This one is GREAT!
Today it is a museum consisting of the historic residence, annex garden and art gallery, Galleria di Palazzo Reale, which is one of the major art collections in the city.

The museum is attached to the Fratelli Carli Olive Oil factory and from the museum you can go to a modern supermarket style shop with many free taster samples of their various products (all associated with olives).
Excellent museum, well organized & very informative

The most interesting of the three palaces on the Via Garibaldi covered by the Museums Card.. Beautiful palace, interesting even without the mostly Italian Renaissance religious art.
This building gives you a sense of the prosperity of Genova and how that allowed for incredible architecture and now an amazing museum.

When I have visited it, there were only three other people in the museum, so it's a rather quiet place.

Marco Polo was born here and there are a lot of statues and museums to his character in Genoa.
Specially recommend the currents exhibition, but I think is a great museum all year long (and besides, the place itself is very beautiful).
