The veiled Christ is really something to behold, the intricate detail is so incredible, even if you aren’t religious or into museums etc, you will still be able to appreciate the beauty of this statue.
We were so glad we queued up to see this small family chapel and the stunning marble sculptures contained within as they were more stunning than anything in the local museums.

There are four different museums and unfortunately, we could only have the chance to visit three.
We visited the University Museum as part of a short stay in Naples, and after having visited most of the popular sites in the city I can say without a doubt that the anatomical museum was our favourite.

one of the best museums I have ever visited if you like railways, well thought out with 29 steam locos in the old erecting shop, very clean and staff so helpful, still more being added so can only get better.
Many trains to visit in this fantastic museum and kept in excellent condition, friendly staff and very low cost! a breathtaking view of the sea and Naples!

The ticket of 9 Euros includes admission to the underground excavation, the church and the museum and all three are really worth it.

I recommend visiting here before the other museums because then you will know what you are looking at.

The National Archaeological Museum of Naples is one of the world's outstanding museums with a most incredible collection of statuary, mosaics, frescoes and other artifacts from Pompeii and Herculaneum.
The museum is also outstanding for monumental Roman sculpture, thanks to the Farnese collection -- and even surpasses the Vatican museums in this department, altho the latter outshines it in quantity and smaller-s...

If you are looking for a place to relax in the very center of Napoli, after walking for hours in museums, churches and all alleys, then Spazio Nea is for you.
It's near the Archeological museum.

... -- a wonderful house, with beautiful ceilings and décor (not to mention what has to be one of the best views in the world out an upstairs French door onto the Bay of Naples), and a mind-blowing ceramics museum.
I wanted to visit here first as the museum closes at around 2pm. and other sights in Vomero district like Castel St Elmo and San Martino are open later.
