Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- FloreArad, Romania1,709 contributionsLocated right next to the promenade, on the seashore, Bella Lola (Mujer del Pescador, as the Spanish say) is a statue with a special charm. Many tourists take photos with it because it is interesting and well integrated into the landscape. If it were promoted more, I think it could compete with "The Little Mermaid" from Copenhagen. I liked it very much.Written 20 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- FloreArad, Romania1,709 contributionsA beautiful work of art located at the entrance to a square that I really liked. The area is exclusively pedestrian, children can roller skate or run, people are resting, everything is very clean. You can take some really nice photos.Written 20 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- PaulWombourne, UK25 contributionsLola looking out to see is an iconic image of Torrevieja. The views around are superb, close to the night market and the Hombre del Mar. The cat protection area is close by, if you like felines, have a look at some of the most viewed felines in Spain.Written 10 May 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FloreArad, Romania1,709 contributionsThe monument, itself, seems quite beautiful, but I did not manage to find out what exactly they wanted to represent. The fact that I read that it is located in the place where the International Habaneras festival took place, did not help me at all. When you come from the Tourist Information Office towards the monument, the area is beautiful and neat, on the other hand, on the opposite side, after the underground parking, the place looks unkempt. This thought came to me when I saw this monument dedicated to the Mediterranean culture. I sat and thought about how many different peoples, in terms of culture and appearance, have lived for thousands of years around the Mediterranean Sea. In addition, the monument also represents the end of the long Juan Aparicio promenade, which starts from Dique de Levante. Worth visiting!Written 20 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
