A true masterpiece in the world of religion and architecture. Must visit this place when visiting Barcelona.

A short walk from our hotel, this beautiful Gothic Cathedral is a must to visit. The cloisters where they have the seats for the Knights of the Golden Fleece are similar to those at Windsor. A trip up to the roof will take your breath away with the views.

Most cheerful work of genius that was Gaudi. You must visit this home in Barcelona. It is his most cheerful work ever that was built for the Battlo family from a building that Mr. Battlo wanted to tear down.

This is another work of Gaudi that should not be missed when visiting Barcelona. The tour here gives an in-depth insight into the work of Gaudi, the murals inside the walls are so beautiful and how he incorporated nature into the house.

Worth a visit, massive stadium and very popular. Went on hop on bus here as quite a way out from old town. Big shop, cafes.

Lovely edifice but too crowded that it looses its charm. We wanted to assist to a ceremony but it was just impossible. Next time I would come back during winter time.

This is a must visit for anyone visiting Barcelona. This is not as touristy as Sagrada or Casa Battlo, Casa Mila. However, this place touched our hearts the most and was a very inspiring place to see. A hospital that was created to serve the poor and the focus and design on improving patient's by providing them with an atmosphere where they can feel better.

This was our second option after we turned up to the Picasso Museum to find they weren’t letting anyone else in until later as it was full (although people were coming out- boo!)

Anyway I digress. This museum is set in a beautiful building at Plaza Catalunya and by the magic fountains (on Thu-Sat). The building alone is beautiful along with the views and of course, the art is diverse, fantastic and curated wonderfully.

We actually visited in the evening about 6pm so it was really quiet (I can’t speak about the day). We only had an hour and a half so had to fly round but would definitely recommend to the art and architecture lovers (or even just to see the views!)

Once in a lifetime experience! Gaudi was an amazing artist who saw the world and was able to design in a way for us, mere mortals, to be transported to another place. La Familia Sagrada is an incredible place to visit. Definitely a place you do not want to be rushed. You will want to watch the light stream through the windows, the sculptures depicting the scenes from the Bible. An incredible church that is hard to put into words. Buy your tickets early and go with a guide otherwise you will be stuck in a very long line!

This is a nice place to walk about for a while before you enjoy the magic fountain. It is also nearby the Arenas of Barcelona Mall.

We were really surprised by this large museum. It doesn’t look big from the outside but the museum is underground! Filled with hands on experiences and a beautiful set up. We only had an hour, which was too short. My teens loved the rain forest, dust storm simulation, etc. Wished we would have had more time here. The descriptions were in Spanish, English, Catalan. They have a cafe to chill and get a snack and water experiments outside. There is a bus that stops right in front. Definitely add this one on to your list.

The exhibition was structured, very well organized and presented. The audio guide was available in 15 languages, in a very good quality. The staff was very kind and helpful. There was a cafe in which we enjoyed the ice cream break, a great place to take a break and recharge to follow the exhibition. We found out many interesting details not only about Gaudí but also about the history of Barcelona.
