Great trip for a nice walk to a stunning location with fabulous views and an impressive, and free, art exhibition in the lighthouse itself.
Very nice view to Santander and the Atlantic Ocean, stunnig rock fomations a lot of nature to explore!

Having just had a private tour of Gaudi sites in Barcelona the week before, finding El Capricho during our stay in Comillas was an unexpected surprise.
The surrounding garden allows views of the building from a range of angles, as well as lots of photographic opportunities.

The Iglesia de Santa Maria dominates the skyline and its architecture and flying buttresses remarkable.....walking around the Church grounds the views of the coastline are amazing.

Good shopping, plenty of restaurants, wonderful architecture and enough sights to keep you entertained.
We were stayed here two nights though the main sites can be done in a day but it was wonderfully relaxing to wander round this lovely old town especially in the evening when the tour group visitors have gone.

The peninsula other attractions such as the Maratime museum & the beachside restaurant but the palace is quite spectacular & the views from the highest point are breathtaking.
I spent one morning visiting the Penisula de la Magdalena, where you can see the Castle which has an amazing view from the top, and before you arrive there, along the way, you can see the Mini Zoo, three galleons...

Only the Spanish would think of a combination of escalators and a short funicular to ascend the hillside but it’s clearly appreciated by the locals and the views going up and from the top platform are amazing.
A perfect complement to the funicular expedition and the view from above!
