Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have seen many horse shows and this was by far the best ever! I applaud the horsemanship and presentation. The trainers are extremely gentle and professional. The level of skill and knowledge is outstanding. Well done, we will definitely go again, as we live nearby.

We were promptly picked up from our hotel and after one further pick up we were on our way to Frigiliana. Frigiliana was absolutely beautiful and my only complaint is that rather than lunch in Nerja I would have loved some free time in Frigiliana to walk around and explore the restaurants there. The Nerja caves were very interesting and an experience not to be missed! Our driver was very professional and Antonia our guide was very knowledgeable and even pointed out other landmarks as we drove to our hotel to give us even more information. A great trip that I would highly recommend

A most rewarding trip. Very dramatic. Very busy so a bit slow, but that shows its popularity. Guide provided good information all the way round. Bus trip from malaga worked well for us as our hotel was only 10 min walk from pick up point. But that was fortuitous. So check as the agents use different pick up points.

We booked the with transport option and had no issues with the communication and pick up. On the return journey, the first stop was at a restaurant. We had no information about a restaurant visit at the end, so stayed on the coach. There were just us and two others who didn't disembark, which felt really weird.
However the show itself was really good. The horses seemed calm and in sync with their riders. The different displays were great to watch and the arena was a good size to be able to see everything. The only downside is the seating, which was very tightly packed and those in the middle had to push passed others to get out.
There was a small shop and refreshment area, but we didn't visit this, as we had taken drinks with us.
All in all a very enjoyable evening and we would recommend a visit if you get chance.

Love this show. I last saw it over 6 years ago, and it still is great. Matthew is a great entertainer and a fab magician, Alarna has a great voice and rhey work so well together ❤️
Good choice of wine, I had the Rose and was pleased to see that it was my preferred Rose since I've been in Spain ❤️
Great show, fab entertainment, and good booze. I can't wait to come back

We used this tour to take us to Gibraltar only. Excellent coach journey to and from Torremolinos. When we arrived we were dropped off at the bus station and advised where the shops were. We made our way along the Main Street and met the local tour guides who were offering a three stop guide up the rock for just £25.00 pp. Our guide was wonderful and gave us a history lesson en route. We stopped to take pics and had a fantastic time with the monkeys. Our guide had nuts and were were able to have our pictures taken. I think this was the best tour for us as people on the full tour were impressed by the pictures we shared. Excellent value all round.

I was going on holiday in Torremolinos and knew it was possible to do a day trip to the Alhambra from there. The Alhambra had been on my bucket list for a very long time and it did not disapppoint - it is very impressive. My choice of trip was limited to that run by Julia Travel as that was the only one advertised during an off-season week in November. The reviews of it were a little mixed, so I was a bit wary, but the trip itself ran as expected without any hitches.

The good: Julia Travel has an office in Torremolinos so it was easy to turn up and confirm the trip two days before it was scheduled as requested. They also offered a pick up point very close to my hotel when I did this, which was a great improvement on the one I had been told about at the time of booking which would have been an hour's walk away. I had booked this trip some months in advance as this is a very popular tour and can fill up quickly. The tour bus was modern, comfortable and arrived on time. The Alhambra itself was stunning and the guide was extremely knowledgeable. Our guide used a wireless microphone and transmitter and issued everyone with a receiver and headpiece at the start of the tour so it was easy to hear everything they said.

The not so good: It's a 2.5 hour coach journey from Torremolinos. Pick up is early morning, around 7:30am. The coach was very full, and made multiple stops to collect people on the way there and drop them off on the way back which made it an extra long trip. There was also a 20 minute stop mid-way in both directions at athe same motorway services where staff desperately tried to sell everyone massively overpriced local produce, which was a waste of everyone's time. On arrival in Granada around 11am we were left to our own devices and told to come back to a meeting point at 1:30pm so that we could be transported to the Alhambra for 2pm. Entry to the Alhambra is strictly controlled and everyone had to have an ID document with them. This was scanned multiple times by Alhambra staff as we moved between different parts of the complex. The tour itself took around 2 hours and felt very rushed. Friends who have visited expressed surprise that it was so fast as there is so much to see there. Given how long it takes to get there and back and the amount to see we really needed longer and a more relaxed schedule for the tour. I found I often became separated from the group as they were moved at high speed between different parts of the Alhambra and I wanted to pause and look at some of the amazing architecture rather than move on at speed. There was no time to visit the museum or some parts of the complex, which was a bit dissappointing given how much the trip cost and how long it took to get there and back.

We had a great guide taking us round the impressive mosque which has been developed to incorporate a beautiful Catholic church/ chapels. Well worth the visit. We had a nice walk around the old town which includes the Jewish quarter. We also saw the Roman bridge over the river. Only problem was the time taken collecting / dropping off all the passengers at various locations.

I did the trip with Rudasir, booked at Time in Spain in Estepona. I loved Sevilla and want to go back again. Bluetooth audio aids were great as the local guide lead us through the historic area. There were a couple hours to have lunch, shop or do the boat ride. I give the tour 5 stars. Unfortunately, the trip was far more than the 12 that is quoted. I got on the bus @ 5:30 a.m. and was returned to the pickup point at just before 9p.m. the further you are from Malaga, the more time on the bus as numerous other passengers are picked up in the morning and then dropped off. We were told that Estepona riders would be on a separate bus to return and not have to wait for others in Marbella, Mijas, etc be dropped off, but that didn't happen. I had planned to do the Cordoba tour the next day, and would have if it had been just 12 hours, but 16 was way too much. If you book from Malaga, the trip is from about 8 am to 6:30 pm, but other location pickup points take a lot more time on the bus.

Overall a good somewhat cursory introduction to Ronda.

    Advantages:
Transportation, entry to bull fighting arena, exposure to principal attractions, friendly guide Fernando and driver Jorge.

    Disadvantages:
Multiple bus stops to pick up passengers within a short distance of one another in Torremolinos. Booked English tour but most of tour was in English, Spanish, French and German grouped together. Full bus with too large of a group for easy mobility and remaining within range of the tour transmitters. Group split in 2 for bullring but still too large of a group (about 40). Some history of the city could have been given during the 2 1/2 hour bus ride.
Tour descriptions could be more detailed.

We, two couples from Glasgow, did the tour on Monday 20th January 2025 with Javier. We got a flyer from him a couple of days prior and when I phoned to book a tour he was there within the hour. He picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off there again. It was a 75 minute tour all around the Torremolinos area, and he was informative and knowledgeable about the area. He was friendly, cared for his customers safety and comfort, and even offered us water. We learned a lot and for €40 for the four of us it was, we felt, fantastic value. It was a great experience that we all enjoyed. Five stars all the way.

Frigiliana is small village in the mountains. Narrow old roads, small shops and restaurants, you can spend 2-3 hours there. Plenty of peaking around the streets

Wonderful tour. Good communication to make sure we were at the pick up spot. Drive thru beautiful scenery, and a first stop at Setenil. Great guide on the bus and then Antonio gave us an informative and fun guided tour in English in Ronda. Ronda is an amazing place. We're so glad we went.

Elena Petronella Padurariu, the Julia Travel agent in Torremolinos, booked our amazing trip to Morocco with MundiMaroc. We enjoyed our five day trek to Casablanca, Marrakesh, Rabat, Meknes and Fez. There was excellent chemistry between our driver, guide and small group of fellow travelers. We were able to see much of the contrasting countryside from our modern and comfortable bus. We were brought to see and experience much of what these distinctive cities had to offer. We could not cross on the ferry back to Spain on our return date because of treacherous wind conditions that closed the port for a few days. Our MundiMaroc guide took us to a hotel in centre town Tangier where were accommodated (food and lodging) at their expense. Meanwhile Elena from Julia Travel communicated twice with us by e-mail to see how she could assist us. We appreciate her thoughtfulness and compassion. The following day MundiMaroc chartered a plane to take us from Tangier to Seville. Upon our arrival at the Seville airport, a MundiMaroc driver was waiting for us and two other passengers to drive us home in Torremolinos. We are still in awe of the consideration that MundiMaroc extended to its customers. Our welfare was more important to them than profit. Thank you so much Belen of MundiMaroc and Elena from Julia Travel for a truly memorable trip.
