Absolutely beautiful area with many shops, bars & restaurants to pick from, a few of my favourites are Tahoma, el mojita, las rias, all reasonably priced, enjoy the beach & bars at the front with the secret alley behind.

walked from torremolinos front to the old town up quite a steep hill, worth the walk just to see the different prices for the same touristy things. Try thr walk down the steps backbto the sea front definitely something of a challenge

Located nestled between Benalmádena and Torremolinos is La Carihuela, a lively district and resort, one of the joys of La Carihuela besides the great pubs, bars, cafe's, restaurants and the famous chiringuito's is Playa De La Carihuela.
A really good beach ,sands are pristine, sun loungers galore and great beach amenities, I did notice the beach showers weren't in operation due to the extreme heat ,we visited here on a roasting hot afternoon, beach packed, we went for a swim ,quite shallow a long way out, cooled down in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, we then relaxed and dried off in the sun in a chiringuito with a beer ,a beautiful beach, most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to the Costa Del Sol.

Perfect beach for an early morning swim (before the crowds/heat) or head to one of the beach clubs later in the day for fun.

Lovely place to visit and at only €3 per person great value. Went in December a lot of the fountains were not work, I assume for maintenance. The Zen Garden pond was green and there were no turtles, other years turtles were on the rocks and swimming around. It’s only 15 minutes walk from centre of town but you need to cross some busy roads. Great space and very quiet, well worth a visit.

Lets be honest, there aren't a lot of tourist attractions in Torremolinos but this one is a 100% must visit. Absolutely beautiful house inside and out and had a superb art exhibition on when we visited. It doesn't take much time to visit as its quite small but is quite beautiful and has the most gorgeous tiles.

If you are in town you absolutely must come here.

As a whole it’s a fun experience because I think his name was Daniel was really good when explaining and doing his presentation for the crocodiles and alligators he made it fun and spoke English and Spanish which was very easy to follow.

There is currently work going on within the crocodile park, which I think is highly needed because although it is nice, I don’t think you could spend more than an hour and a half to 2 hours here

There is lots of opportunity due to the empty spaces that they have a round the crocodile park and within it it would be fantastic to see photo opportunity areas where you have fake dinosaurs or fake crocodiles that you could have a fun photo with like you doing other places

I came here 10 years ago and it doesn’t look overly different but I do think the crocodiles and other animals there look well kept and it was very interesting to learn about how they survive and what they do would highly recommend going as long as you don’t expect to be there for hours or all day

Aqua park is right next door so if you do like a waterpark, I would highly recommend booking both at the same time

One thing I did really enjoy was being able to feed the turtles which was very funny as there are quite a lot and you will see from my photo that they just bundled on top of each other there is lots and lots of space for them, but then getting food was very funny

The park is quite large and well laid out. the highlight for me was the brilliant viewing tower overlooking the whole of the area from Torremolinos all the way across Benalmadena and Arroyo de la Miel. As we were staying down in Carihuela it is a fairly hard uphill climb through the winding streets to Montemar Alto where the park is situated, we just walked into Torremolinos and used the train. Montemar is the first stop along the Fuengirola line and is only a five minute journey. The park is just across the line from Montemar Alto station over a narrow bridge. A tip here is to use a debit/credit card at the electronic ticket gates instead of waiting in the queue for available ticket machines. Just scan the card and go through but don't forget to scan off at your destination or you will be charged for the entire journey to the terminus at Fuengirola. The park has some amazing baroque statues and fountains, a great variety of trees and small lakes. There are several old artillery pieces near the viewing tower of interest and this would have been the obvious site of defending gun batteries in days gone by. Lots of available shade but no cafe. There is a toilet block near the entrance with a coffee machine outside which I was told by a local had the most fantastic coffee available but I wasn't tempted. Instead, cross back over the bridge and turn right at the pharmacy (unmissable) opposite the station and there is a really nice little Spanish bar/cafe (las Naranjas) selling a good variety of quality tapas. (I was tempted this time). Back on the train to Torremolinos or walk through the winding residential lanes back down to the coast. Be warned though, Spanish streets often wind around confusingly and can end up in dead ends so get the satnav on the phone.

We went to see some friends staying in the Apartments known as Bajondillo. Unbeknown to many peope including the locals. Neanderthal man frequented this area and lived in the abundant caves of Bajondillo. They lived in peace and quiet before the arrival of Homo Sapiens. Homo Sapiens in varoius shapes and sizes still arrives daily from the Airport of Malaga. We like the Neanderthalers have also moved on to quieter places like Arroyo de la Miel to get away from the modern Cave Men and Women.

We felt like cocktails for our last evening in Torremolinos and after walking up from the Nogelara plaza saw this place and thought let’s try it.
A drinks menu allowed us to select what each of us wanted and we ordered from the smiling waitress.
Nice bowl of popcorn was added to our table to go with the drinks.
