The foliage in the park is amazing and will provide great shade in the summer, the boulevards are wide and well paved, so a great place for a stroll.

Most of the park is shady and cool due to the trees but there are also cactus gardens and walks up to viewing points with incredible views over Malaga city which do get a bit hotter.I would avoid the forest route...

For nature lovers, a very nice place to explore; Ornitologues will find very quit places to observe and make nice pictures of all sorts of exotic birds; In spring a lot of wonderful flowers are bording the river.
Climb the embankment and turn left and in a few minutes you will get to the bridge for walkers, cyclists and park staff that takes you over the river into the reserve proper.
