We found great results, but some are outside Rhineland-Palatinate. Showing results in neighbouring cities.
Limit search to Rhineland-Palatinate.
Good coverage of uniforms, NBC protective gear, radios, optical equipment, and light artillery is also found in the museum.
Amazing military museum
Deutsches Edelsteinmuseum Idar-Oberstein
Grand Home converted to Gem and Mineral Museum
Enjoyed this little "gem" of a museum.
We planned our own itinerary with Viatorius Tours as my husband and I wanted to visit car and history museums and they suggested visiting Technik Museum and was so happy they did.
Unlike British museums, you have great and unsupervised access to the exhibits - get inside the 747, the Antonov, the U-boat and the S&R boat, as well as helicopters and other aircraft.
Siegfried's Mechanisches Musikkabinett Ruedesheim am Rhein 42.5 km away
This is one of the best museums ever put together with such a huge variety of exclusive, exquisite and amazingly large mechanical musical instruments.
Whilst on a cruise chose to visit Siegfried’s amazing museum Interesting, well preserved and well maintained exhibits throughout Our guide was interesting and knowledgeable Will definitely revisit in the future We...
A very nice museum; a must see if you are in the area or interested in the cold war.
A small part of the former big bunker is nowadays a museum.
Whilst at Speyer we visited the Historical Museum Many very old artifacts on display and friendly helpful staff on hand Spent an interesting time wandering around and would like to revisit Close to the Cathedral
Great Museum with interesting permanent and temporary exhibitions
This is one of the best museums of ancient and classical history which I've ever visited.
It focuses mainly on the Roman period, and is one of the most important museums in Europe for that culture.

The Mainz Gutenberg Museum is one of the best museums I have ever visited, and a must for our guests.
The Gutenberg Museum offers a fascinating look at the development and impact of printing technology from the time that Johannes Gutenberg produced the first printed Bible with his printing press in 1415.

Museum Roemervilla Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler
This was a really interesting museum which gave a glimpse of life in the ancient times.
This museum is a must for all ages if you are in the area!
We were able to walk to the little museum from where our river cruise docked.
This historical museum documents the history of mustard from 1600 B.C. to today.
Anyone who loves history, model building, wood working or museums would find this museum interesting.
Highly recommended modern museum where you get a good insight in ship constructions especially Roman.
Arp Museum Remagen
Visited with some friends from Bonn on the day the museum was celebrating its anniversary with free entrance, a party and a band, so it was busy.
Lovely Museum!
Do wear comfortable walking shoes and enjoy the walk along the Rhine to the Peace Museum.
In the tower of the Bridge at Remagen, a pivotal piece of WWII history, this was an unexpected and very nice museum.
The museum is located at Cusanusstr. 2. For those who love ice cream - just across the street from the wine museum you will find the Icecream Venezia ice cream, which some say offers deliciously delicious ice creams.
We then crossed the bridge to the Mosel-Vinothek and wine museum.
I was on a bit of a pilgrimage to aviation museums and I'd say that Hermeskeil's is definitely beaten by the one in Sinsheim.
Great family visit to a very interesting museum
Geysir Andernach Andernach
When you go there , you can buy a ticket include museum, shiptrip and active geiser.
Dynamikum Pirmasens
We have been to this science museum twice and my kids have loved it both times.
This museum keeps children and adults occupied for hours.
Buddha Museum Traben-Trarbach
Certainly the most enchanting Museum I've ever been to, located in the beautiful Moselle valley town of Traben-Trarbach.
A building that once served as a winery, on the banks of the Mosel River, is now this special museum, which houses nearly 2,000 Buddha figures.
Rheingau Wine Museum Broemserburg Castle Ruedesheim am Rhein 42.4 km away
Excellent small, specialist museum
This was a small museum, but still worth a trip.
Lava Dom Mendig
This Museum were very informative and were made with nice 3D storytelling about the history of the Vulcans and Eruptions up to our time.
The museum has a free audio guide in English which is excellent.
Museum Reichenstein Trechtingshausen
The Reichenstein castle museum is a much better choice if you are choosing from this or the Rheinstein castle which is much smaller but I would do both if you can.
This museum forms a part of the Burg Reichenstein castle situated between the towns of Bingen & Oberwesel.
A nice museum with permanent exhibitions and changing exhibitions.
It is far more than excellent that although the paintings are nice I was not that impressed having visited many museums in Paris and Vienna, but whoever designed the audio tour is a master professional.
Being a fan of outdoor museums such as St. Fagin's in Wales and the one local to us at Detmold, we had to check this one out too.
We spent about 4 hours walking, admiring old buildings, having fun with farm animals and remembering a childhood, when our grandparents time to time still used the things we could now see in the museum.
