Everything about this theater is perfect.
This theatre is well worth a visit!
The theater is awesome, the opera and singers were incredible, helpful staff and good (but a little pricey) coffee.
It’s a perfect chocolate box theatre with helpful staff and comfortable seats.
2 Ways to experience it
Festspielhaus Bayreuth
The theatre is an acoustic marvel and all four Ring Cycle operas that were performed during the week we were there were outstanding productions.
The way that one note gradually fills the entire theater fully and richly is just one evidence of Wagner's genius.
Passionstheater Oberammergau
As part of a GCT tour, we had the opportunity to visit the theater where the Passion Play is celebrated every 10 years.
the theatre has a museum that gives the history of the play, the costumes and o movie as well.
Oh, and as any real theater there is a bar, interval drinks that you can preorder (recommended)
Basically, this is a short and quick visit inside one of the ground floor wings of the residence to see a 1950s reconstruction of the late 18th-century masterpiece Rococo theatre designed by Bavarian artist Franci...
If you have a chance to visit the Residenz Palace in the center of Munich you should by a ticket to this old ancient Rokoko Opera-Theater, built in the beginning of the 18th century.
They have lots of events inside the building such as ballet concerts, young people's workshops and of course, opera.
This is an exqusitely decorated theatre which captures a time in musical history now past.
Wnderful, tiny opera theatre - only sorry we couldn't see a performance, which must be quite an experience.
The Prinzregententheater is a versatile and acoustically more than satisfactory 19th-century building, which can be used for opera, concerts, and recitals.
We really enjoyed the whole of the concert and also the wonderful ambience of the theatre.
Once in the theatre environs you have a lovely circulation space with drink areas and a huge foyer once you are inside.
Just finished seeing The Blue Man Group - a first for both the show & the theater.
Go early or make a reservation for the more popular shows as the club does tend to fill up quickly.
The concert was short (just that piece) but great - the choir was OUTSTANDING.
Theater Regensburg Regensburg
It was this personalised tour that was a highlight hearing the history of the theatre and seeing the beautiful theatre was amazing.
What is even better is how the Theater Regensburg uses venues around the city.
