Our tour of Munich with Stefan was wonderful - this tour was the perfect start to our visit in Munich as it gave us a great sense for the history and culture of the city.

Our trip combined historical breweries, their food and beer, with art, architecture and German history/culture, that Scott, Vonia and Dave & Kelley Ringler, owners of the Cedar Springs Brewery are well versed in.

For 14 Euros, you get a welcome Weissbier, followed by 90 minutes of multimedia presentations and facilities tours and finishing with an hour of sampling all their beers and enjoying weisswurst and pretzels.
As soon as you get there, staff sit you down in a special pub, get you a beer, and you watch a video on the history of the brewery and the brewing process.
You can find this nice monastery a little a bit south of Munich,the place is nice but the best of all was the food (grilled pork) !We had the best draft beer from Bavaria!!
It consists of a beautiful monastery on a hill with a Biergarten and large indoor tavern that serves the local brew and food.

Well worth the trip to have lunch at this place, wonderful German brewery, traditional food and excellent beer.
The beer tasting at the end of the tour was fantastic and the restaurant is a perfect way to end the day.

Clearly a lot of money has been spent developing the distillery in the wonderful Bavarian setting, and the results are clear to see/taste - they are already winning awards for their young whisky!
Returned in the evening for a beer outside in the sunshine and stayed for several - their wheat beer is absolutely excellent.

The distillery has a guided and self-guided tours; we did the self-guided.
If you prefer craftsmanship over blended mass production and you know how to appreciate a single malt, this is the place to go.

The entire trip was seamless - the hotels were all excellent, the food was fantastic, and the entire team made sure to stay in contact with us on our trip and give us tips along the way.
All the food and beer were delicious, the hotel rooms were great attractions themselves with gorgeous views in each.
The beer is great with the pretzels alongside Highly recommended when in Munich and stopping here for a few beers when in Bavaria.
