- Lornabell30Belfast, UK352 contributionsWe hadn't intended going to this distillery on the day we went we were supposed to be at Bassins de Lumiere but we had expected Dali not Tintin so was gave it a miss and walked to the distillery not the easiest walk on a wet windy day.However we were glad we did it and although a tour in English wasn't available when we arrived we were able to join a french tour and were given written material in English.The tour was very interesting and the guide was able to answer our questions in English during and after the tour. The tasting at the end of the tour was excellent. I would highly recommend a visit to this distillery

My husband is quite into wines, so he wanted to go to these specific regions. We enjoyed visits to all wineries, leisurely lunches in wine country and a walk in Saint-Emilion. The scenery is just amazing! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the region and the wines. We asked tons of questions and had some great conversations. We felt like the tour was made with our best interest in mind, it was not rushed. - rl_netherlandsNetherlands18 contributionsDuring our trip in France we spend some days in Bordeaux. I booked for 2 days a small group tour with Aquitaine Limousine/ Bacchus Tours. Both tours were excellent.
The first day we went to the Médoc wine region with Hugo. We got a lot of information during the drive. We visited 3 different château including one very small. Every stop included tastings and someone from the the château told us all about it. We had some extra time before lunch so we also got to see Château Margaux from the outside.
The second day we went with Catherine to the Saint-Emillion region and visited again 3 château. Just like day 1 it gives a lot of opportunity to taste the differences between them. We also had a walk through Saint-Emillion where Catherine treated us to Macarons de Saint-Émilion from Nadia Fermigier. We als visited Le Cloître des Cordeliers where we tasted some different Crémant de Bordeaux.
Although I booked a small group tour we were the only 2 booked both days so it ended up being a private tour. The electric minivan was extremely comfortable.
