Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a private tasting with Benjamin as our guide. We had a great tour of the property and then a wine and cheese pairing afterwards. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, and great use of time. Highly recommend and we will be back!!

We were staying in the area and randomly stopped to possibly pick up a couple of bottles of wine, thinking it would be a 10 minute stop. Greeted by Dave who offered us a tour of the vineyards and explanations of what they did, how they did and an insight into how they wanted to be totally organic. 2 superb hours later we had enjoyed a great time, learned so much and sampled some truly superb wines, and felt it was the very best few hours we had spent that day. So relaxed and in no way like some other vineyards we had visited in the past.

I visited the vinyad today on spec as I stayed with Henri 42 years ago aged 16, I had a wonderful welcome from the lady whose name I never asked. Thank you very much for showing my wife and myself around the callers, I will when I return to England share a bottle of Marbuzet with my father who is 87 next week ( he used to be a buyer for Bouchard Anie in the 1960 -1975) and baught wine from Henri all those years ago!!

Haut-Brion is very famous and produces top quality wines, one of the very best of this region actually! We did a private tour, and tasted their delicious wines. Staff was not very friendly, so 4/5.

Had a great afternoon on a private tour of the vineyard. It really is a beautiful setting with the gorgeous old chateau next to the ultra modern Phillipe Starck designed wine cellar. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and we finished in the beautiful wine tasting area. It's just a short taxi ride form the centre of Bordeaux. Well worth a visit if staying in the city.

I had a lovely walk to this chateau, from Nemea ApartHotel, despite the November rainy weather. It was really worth seeing.

We received a complete guidance on the wine-making process and got to see the factory and much more. Our guide Remy was engaging and had a real passion for his work. The wines were good and the sulfate free wines were interesting.

They run the farm as ecologically as possible, which we appreciated very much.

We warmly recommend a visit here.

Expertly knowledgeable, engaging and fun, I can't imagine anyone going with any other guide; Emily from Chateau Canon-La-Gaffeliere is a masterpiece with her expertise and energy, answering questions nonstop, while being inviting and friendly.
I highly recommend a trip to Bordeaux's St. Emilion region with Emily from Chateau Canon-La-Gaffeliere. If you want the pinnacle of a trip to the world's premiere wine capital in Bordeaux, simply stated, look no further.

I was only able to be in Bordeuax for a couple of days and was lucky enough to spend one of those days with Laetitia. She personally drove us through the vineyards of Bordeaux. She took us on a tour of St. Emilion where she grew up. We were able to go inside the underground wine caves and eat coffee with caneles and a beautiful view. We had the most perfect picnic in her vineyard while laughing and drinking great wine. Lastly, she showed us how to taste wine and we were able to create our our wine blend to try.

This was an unforgettable experience that I will recommend to any friends that may visit Bordeaux!! Laetitia was a great host and a charm to be around. Can't wait for my next trip!

Wonderful wine, great price, highly recommend. A brilliant treat during lockdown. Delivered within 4 days in lockdown, free of charge from their UK warehouse. Delivery driver particularly good, waiting patiently for my 90 year old mother to answer the door, treating her with great respect. Thank you.
