Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is an excellent spot for an aperitif digestif or light dinner - very friendly and welcoming service, with a mixture of locals and tourists. I'd recommend sitting inside on a warmer day where there is a fan but outside there's a nice view of the town gate. The staff are helpful and the service good. A fantastic range of wine by both the bottle and the glass - almost everything available by the glass including a very good champagne and a range of burgundy and cote du rhone as well as all the white and red bordeaux you would expect. Lovely and well priced cheese and meat boards in 3 sizes, warm camembert, rillettes etc all very tasty and served with ample bread - not sure why they've gone for napkins not plates! We went twice on a 4 night stay having had "dinner at lunch time" on 2 days and wanting somewhere nice to go for a reasonable but not massive amount of food. Really recommended.

If you want to taste top end wines without having to buy the bottle, this is the place. Chateau Margaux, Chateau Figeac, Gava (premium Italian) and many others. Highly recommend. Good English and good location.

A great little restaurant/ wine bar. Food freshly made and very yummy. Well priced and great staff, especially Alice, she is very accomodating, friendly and a perfect host. Food may take a little time but with little fuss. All food is prepared fresh. Great selection of wine from all, over the world. Lobe this place.
