It had just rained a lot and was cold but it didn't matter, it was still so fun. The VR experience was very immersive and it felt like we literally went back into time through the Gaol, we learnt a lot of history in our short visit.

In the end the weather prevailed however the ability to adjust the tour made our day very enjoyable. Covered Irish history, detailed commentary of the beautiful countryside and areas that we visited. It was a very special memorable day for our group. Excellent guide brought to life the fantastic ceilings, furniture, and ambience now gone. Loved its authenticity and the amount of original artifacts. It was the time of our life! David was our tour driver and absolutely wonderful, accommodating and made sure to make it a great time for us. We enjoyed all of the beauty, historic places, gardens, and an amazing lunch. We didn't have to worry about anything and relaxed in between sites in a beautiful Mercedes Sedan. My daughter loved the traditional Irish restaurant that James recommended -- she had Irish Stew and I had a vegetarian dish. The food was superb. We loved the monastery ruins, and the beautiful Powerscourt Garden. The Wicklow Mountains, Powerscourt Waterfall, Estate and Gardens were stunningly beautiful. A must see. Also loved being held up by sheep on our tour. - Sharon F1 contributionWe just got back from an amazing trip to Ireland. Dave from Overland Tours was wonderful. We started in Dublin and proceeded to Killarney, Dingle, Doolin, and ended in Galway. This was a private arranged tour. We have been talking about how Overland made our trip. Between the driving, checking us into hotels that were booked thru Overland and all the little tours within the days we visited we learned so much. We would never have had the same experience if we had tried to do this on our own.
