It is situated on the river shannon and the river walks are very picturesque - gravel paths suitable for walking, running or cycling under large oak trees and beautiful riverside views where you can see cormorants...
Well worth a visit with art on view as well as nice fountains and sculptures.
Thomond Park Stadium Limerick
#2 of 40 Sights & Landmarks in Limerick
If you are visiting for a game you will find the locals friendly and helpful, there will be plenty of food and tea/coffee vendors on-site as well as a few bars.
The view across when inside is awe inspiring on a dark evening, as it lights up the edge of the city.If visitors or tourists have a chance I would highly recommend this stadium for a visit which is a credit to the...

Yes, the church is a historic and beautiful site, but the volunteers here were also beautiful people who made our trip even more meaningful.

The climb up ever narrowing and steeper winding stairs was a challenge but rewarded by some great views from the battlements over the river and surrounding countryside.
Incredible tapestries within the castle, so much to view on the grounds, and of course, the wonderfully friendly staff.
