This was a relaxing and beautiful ride on the river in which our guide narrated different sights and historical facts about the area.
The island is incredibly peaceful, sites are beautiful and we even got within 6-7 feet of the small deer that inhabit the island.

The demonstration takes place in the valley of the mountains framing Killarney National Park to provide stunning views and a technically challenging landscape for the dog and sheep to navigate.
We spent the day driving through Killarney, stopped to gawk at The Ladies View (a must-do!), and then arrived at Kissane.

This is one of the most spectacular places you could hope to visit and even in autumn with the fall the views and scenery is fabulous with the castle, lake and mountains to add to the experience.
The view across the lake is stunning and if you like there is a 45 minute cruise that you can take which will bring you along the lakes of Killarney.

I loved the incredible views of the Lough Lein, Mc Gulicuddy Reeks, the city of Killarney and bucolic pastures.
It commands the most spectacular view of all of Killarney's attractions and is fittingly known as " Heaven on a Hillside" from a local verse.

When you get to the bridge, for a great photo shot, make your way carefully a few feet down to the river bank where there is a wonderful view through both arches of the bridge.
Definitely a 'must do walk' around the Lakes of Killarney to check out the views and scenery from here.
