The owner, Fred, and Andy are welcoming bar tenders and they draw friendly locals who will take the time to have a great conversation, give you some pointers, and make you feel like an old friend for a night or two!
Would definitely recommend club orange and the Guinness!
I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun night out while in Dublin, takes you off the beaten path and out of Temple Bar to pubs that feel more authentic and less touristy.
each bar had a unique feel and it was really refreshing to get out of the city and chat with some locals and listen to live music outside while looking at the views of mountains.
Our guide, Patrick was brilliant, imparting a wealth of knowledge on history as well as nightlife in a very humourous and informative manner.
... regaled us with his stories and entertained us with his humour all whilst guiding us through Dublin's most memorable sites including Dublin Castle, Christ Church Cathedral, Temple Bar, Trinity College, the Spire.
