- BevH79Glenrothes, UK20 contributionsExcellent fun for my football team. Bob was a great host and the girls took to him brilliantly. Worth the cost just to see them having fun, laughing and joking. Thanks BobWritten 21 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Nancy BScotland, UK1 contributionA significant historic building of national importance with Norman tower - lots to see including recent archaeological finds - and an old graveyard. Open 7 days a week, with optional guided tours 10.30am to 4.30 pm (Sunday service 11.30am-12.30pm) till early October. Half way along the Fife Pilgrim Way and in town, so a very good stop off point. Well worth a visit. No entry fee - donations optional. Toilets. Some steps to enter the grounds.Written 29 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BigMerkGlasgow, UK2,303 contributionsRiverside Park is a short drive from the centre of Glenrothes. There is good car free car parking. As the name suggests, the River Leven runs thru the park and you can walk along the river and under the suspension bridge. There are play areas for kids, good dog-walking and areas for walking or jogging. There are nice flower displays too.Written 9 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 326jackie11 contributionsfriendly and helpful, beautiful scenery, peaceful! Great value for money!
There were some big trout being caught, sadly not by me, however, thoroughly enjoyed my few hours. Plenty of platforms to fish from the bank and around 10 boats for hire as well! Highly recommend!Written 30 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s a white picturesque suspension bridge which appears to have been built higher than necessary for such a short span but it is certainly a landmark.Written 9 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JenAnnieNottingham, UK703 contributionsWhat a lovely place to visit. We came up from England & found this to be a very friendly place to spend the day. The Heritage centre wad full of good information & old photographs & so much knowledge of the Titanic.Written 26 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - macedonboyGlasgow, UK179,691 contributionsThis ancient site is linked to the religious and burial rituals of prehistoric people of Fife. This stone circle is linked to the nearby Balfarg Henge, but smaller in comparison to Stonehenge. There's an information board at the stones with good explanation and interpretation of the site. It's worth a quick stop if you're in the area and probably a bit better than Balfarg as this is more complete.
Just to add by two cents worth about the parking and directions. Google Maps will take to you virtually to the stones on Tufthill where there's parking on the street. It's no more than a minute walk from there if the stones are all you want to see.Written 19 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Well maintained, facilities clean, staff lovely. They can’t wait to go back.Written 23 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - macedonboyGlasgow, UK179,691 contributionsThe 1971 Ibrox disaster was a crush at an Old Form game that led to 66 deaths and over 200 injuries. There's a memorial at Ibrox stadium commemorating all the victims, this is another specifically for the four from Glenrothes who died there. It's a simple block of polished granite with the name of the four. I came as a fan, but it's a bit out of the way to see if you're not.Written 30 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - craigluscarDunfermline, UK13,606 contributionsQuite a large Graveyard with some quite old gravestones ,there are also Commonwealth graves here . Laid out on the brow of a hill the views out towards Coaltown of Balgonie and Glenrothes are superb . It is well maintained with cut grass and leaves swept and still in use for the areaWritten 27 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
