Old castle with a lot of history and great views over castle meadow towards river USK ,After walk around grounds go for walk down to river dogs welcome
My walk in the afternoon sunshine along the paved path up the motte to the museum gave me commanding views of the town and further afield, and I could appreciate why this site was chosen to build a castle.
