Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked ahead to save on booking (would advise to do this - but wasn't busy in January, but saved a third of the price) Picked up at Westminster pier - was great, as got to view the Houses of Parliament before left.
We were booked to get off at Greenwich - cruise takes about 40 mins (could do this much quicker, but it does give you chance to see things along the bank)
There is a commentary running about certain points of interest. The return commentary was better by a member of staff.
Boat had indoor & outdoor seating. Lots of seats. Bar/cafe available & toilets

This is one of the best and most unique things there is to do in London! The water was warm, the drinks were tasty, the people were super nice and the river was calm and easy to navigate. Definitely recommend this! Can’t wait to try the BBQ boat later this year!

This is the best thing I have ever done in London. It was exciting and perfect for teenagers and their parents. A great adventure.

If you haven’t seen London from the Thames this is worth the time. It does take most people to the Tower but it’s worth staying on to see the cute little village of Greenwhich.

The commentary gives you a different side of London and was humorous.

    It was worth the time.

What a way to see London , starts off a slow ride then high speed lots of twists and turns was great fun , the guys onboard Chris and Alex pointed out so much about London and we thought we thought we knew it all .My friend was nervous to start with but they reassured her , we felt very safe in their hands. We will be back.

The fact that we could bring the dog along on the boat was amazing! Had a great time on the boat as well as on land, chatting to the lovely staff. 10 out of 10!

I do enjoy sailing in various forms. I've driven a speedboat in the bay at Vancouver British Columbia, taken a high performance boat out on Lake Meade Nevada, and sailed with dolphins in South Carolina. And I've spent plenty of time on some of the rivers of England.

This is my first time with a low speed tiller controlled electric boat on a canal, but it was absolutely delightful fun for all the family. We took a two hour route, which is just the right amount of time to explore the full route recommended. The scenery was unique and delightful. The boat was quiet and easy to control, although there is a bit of adjustment needed if you're used to a steering wheel.

The staff were super friendly and informative. The safety briefing was excellent. And we had a lot of fun.

My only real criticism is given that this is London, I can't for the life of me understand why they didn't order boats with a roof or canopy! Because obviously it isn't going to be much fun in the rain. Although you are driving slow enough that an umbrella would be okay. Just not ideal.

Assuming nice weather, this is a delightful way to spend a couple of hours. We also got very fortunate in that the canal was quite empty on the day we sailed. Perhaps with a whole bunch of tourist traffic it may not be quite as relaxing. But still, great experience, nice boats, great staff. Well worth it.

Five of us went on the Alan Gardiner River cruise on the river Orwell, Ipswich, Essex. lovely boat with a very friendly crew. It takes up to 12passengers. A good commentary on what was of interest, too. The lunch was extremely good, with choices of starters, mains, and desserts. This was provided by one chef in a small galley, and all the meals were served at the same time. Amazing. A high standard of food. Would certainly go again.

We went from Westminster to Tower Bridge and back. We had been let down by Uber Thames Clippers due to delays and cancellations and Michael at Viscount cruises was fantastic offering an immediate solution. The commentary was great and the bar was well stocked. Fantastic. Thank you very much to everyone on board.

Last night was our second time of asking King Cruises to host an 18th Birthday party for one of our daughters and they did not disappoint on either occasion. From the point of initial contact, the team communicates quickly and effectively ensuring that no small detail is overlooked. They were right on time at the pier, making sure that we got the most of our cruise slot. The choice of food is very wide and, because it is prepared during the cruise, it is absolutely fresh. Last night’s dishes smelled incredible as they were cooking and they tasted delicious. The crew go out of their way to make sure that everything happens as it should during the party, and all our guests commented on what a wonderful party it had been. Thank you so much to everyone at King Cruises. The birthday girl was over the moon!!!

We had the best time, pictures by die water with the Canary Wharf backdrop, a hall to dance in, super helpful event coordinator (Amy) and team of awesome people to help us. Everyone came to ask us who the food suppliers were as the BBQ (yes in winter!) was excellent quality. It was a very affordable wedding for 60 people. They even cut our three layered cake up for us, cook and everyone so professional and a dream to liaise with. Well stocked bar and variety of menus to choose from. It was such a stressless venue for us and lovely as we had a date here early on in our relationship and I used to live around the corner many years ago. They even arranged the DJ. Thank you for making our Special day so enjoyable and God bless you for all your help!

Had a fabulous afternoon on the gorgeous yacht taking in the sights down to Tower Bridge. We were well looked after by Paul and Lee and enjoyed their commentary about particular places of interest and buildings along the way. The weather wasn't great but we were protected by the canopy and it didn't compromise our enjoyment at all. Lots of fun and a great experience.

We held a very memorable Uni reunion for 40 on board and had a wonderful evening cruising the Regent Canal system. The barge is so different and makes a fab venue with a really helpful and friendly team. Thoroughly recommended.
