Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We just wanted to visit the dinosaurs, as our kid was too museumed out after the Science museum for anything more. We booked free tickets in advance for 2pm on a weekday and walked straight in, no queue. The building itself is so impressive and it was amazing to see the foyer. The dinosaur exhibit was also really well done, and again, not too busy when we went - we were able to just walk through and straight up to whatever part we wanted to see. Only spent about 30 minutes here in total, so can't comment on the rest of the museum, but worth it just to see what we saw.

The Linnean Society is one of a number of learned societies situsted in Burlington House. It is one of the oldest having been founded in 1788 and is dedicated to the dissemination of information about natural history, evolution and taxonomy. It has been based in Burlington House since 1857. During London Open Days 2023 ground floor rooms housing exhibitions and the magnificent library spread over two floors were open to the public. Particularly impressive is a marble staircase around which rest a number of colourful prints of animals and shells.

Highly recommended for history buffs! Part of the Royal Museums Greenwich, this is a gigantic warehouse of maritime-related objects that also houses a conservation group. Really enjoyed a two-hour Thursday walking tour in a small group with friendly staff guides, looking at everything from astonishing collections of paintings to Admiral Nelson's tea cups to early charts drawn on calfskin. We also chatted with conservators at work. The collection is not near the other Greenwich museums nor other tourist attractions. But getting there took only about half an hour from Victoria Station via Southeastern Railway to the Kidbrooke station, which is a few minutes' walk from the collection.
