I've travelled across the railway lines above Borough Market hundreds of times and spent a lot of time in London, but this was one place that had always escaped me until now. We visited on a weekday afternoon and had a pleasant wander round the market looking at all the different stalls. There is a wide variety of food available but sadly it is very busy and in some ways spoilt by tourism now - in it's heyday it must have been an amazing place. However, it's bustling and gives a great taste of both British and international cuisine.

Certainly worth a visit, but can be expensive and busy.

This market is amazing! You could easily spend a whole day here. So many food stalls it's ALMOST overwhelming. They definitely have something for every appetite. And so many awesome vendors selling every item imaginable. If you're into vintage items this would be right up your alley. Overall the market is a vibe and worth checking out if you're in London. I cannot wait to return!

Covent Garden is a gem in the centre of London. A lovely market full of interesting shops and stalls that manages to merge the traditional with contemporary and not be at all tacky. We stopped at Covent Garden by chance really, we had no plans to go there but were extremely pleased that we did. An excellent couple of hours, a nice bit of lunch made the visit very enjoyable.
    Recommended.

Not been for years so was good to go back. However, do not expect everything to be open/set up at the advertised open time - we went early to avoid the crowds. Therefore we only stayed as long as it took to walk around.

This place is awesome. I recommend for everyone to go. Such a colorful and rich experience with food, shopping and all of it. Even though there’s so much to do in London, I highly recommend you coming here for an afternoon. It’s really a blast…then you hit brick lane, check out some street art and you’ve got the best day ever!!

Laura Lees Morgan Jewellery was the highlight of our trip to Greenwich market last weekend.
Been looking for a dainty silver bracelets and whilst other stores caught my eye, Laura's welded bracelet beat the lot. Great customer interaction with my friends and I. We'll definitely be back earlier in the day to get the pick of jewel crop! Can't wait to add to my welded jewellery collection.

A very cool vibrant international street food market with some nice design shops, organic supermarket and a florist tucked away for good measure. A go to location when we're hungover and need food, a great option to drag friends to if nobody can decide on what to eat. Just don't expect to find seating if it's peak time

It's always nice to stroll through this arcade before the shops are open. Great window shopping because that's all we can afford. Worth a stroll.

We cabbed from central London on a Sunday to check out this market. It was fun and interesting, though nothing really stands out. We saw everything from furniture to record albums to vintage clothing, and every type of prepared food you can imagine. We samples some mini-waffles with sugar and cinnamon, some chicken dumplings and coffee served out of an old black cab. It was an enjoyable way to spend a few hours and we will definitely return on a future trip to London. After we finished this market, we walked to the Columbia Street Flower Market which was full of...wait for it...flowers. It was a good way to spend time seeing a part of London that otherwise we likely would not have seen.

This is a cool and very pleasant place to visit, if you would like to experience a unique Brixton vibe. My impression is and I could be wrong, but this is where many locals shop and eat here. We ate at two small restaurants and the food was excellent and the prices very reasonable, considering this is London.
If I know anyone who is visiting Brixton I will definitely recommend a trip to Brixton Village.

Loved this place! So many options and something for everyone. I am amazed by the converted cathedral/church to this street food market place. One of my favorite spots for lunch with friends in London.

I was last here just before the official 10.00am opening, on a Sunday morning. It was interesting to see the traders unpacking their boxes and setting out their wares ready for the weekend Covent Garden crowds.
This market is a good place to go if you like handmade jewellery, prints, watercolours and other handcrafts, which you’ll find from Tuesday to Sunday; antiques and collectibles are the order of the day on Mondays.
The market stalls are original from the days, long gone now, when Covent Garden was London’s busy wholesale fruit/vegetables/flower market.

We were looking for something for lunch whilst in the area so decided to look around here. There was loads of variation and everything looked so fresh and tempting. Unfortunately there wasn't really anything suitable for young children so we decided to try elsewhere but had there just been the two of us we definitely would have got something here.
