With views across to other islands and across the picturesque ocean, Belvoir beach was the perfect location for a sun-trap due to its protected nature!
Belvoir bay is beautiful , toilet facilities are well placed around the island , ferry ride about 20 mins from St Peter port , well worth a visit especially if you are a nature lover .
Candie Gardens St Peter Port
#5 of 18 Nature & Parks in Guernsey
This delightful very well kept park in the heart of St Peter Port is beautiful beyond words.
as happens in many places, the open space of delightful parks are seen as places to add a new facility so a library has been built in this tremendous little garden.

If you fancy a lovely walk along the cliff path then park at La Gouffre when they are closed (eg on Monday) and walk - if you are reasonably fit it takes 30 minutes but beware there are many steps.
Parking is limited somewhat but most car parks in Guernsey aren’t going to be huge!

Saints Bay Beach St Martins
#11 of 18 Nature & Parks in Guernsey
no areas to park a car, very scenic, and lovely to just sit and listen to the sea and birds.
We did park but no "official parking" just off road.
#12 of 18 Nature & Parks in Guernsey
There are no amenities so bring a picnic and use the toilets on the car park back by the main road before you set out.
Of course it is no longer a leper colony now, but rather, a nature reserve with a retreat house for groups.

I can only think that people must have been expecting manicured gardens of the municipal park variety and were therefore disappointed.
Entrance to the park is free, and it's a lovely and interesting spot, including the manor itself, but don't miss the garden (half price when we came) which is a real experience at any time of year.
#14 of 18 Nature & Parks in Guernsey
It's a true effort of beauty, lots of original plants, lots of herbs and flowers, restfully tucked to the side of Saumarez Park.
The adjoining Saumarez Park has some good trees, trails and picnic sites enjoyed by families.
