Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic drift down the river, we loved the humor and the stories as we saw Cambridge drift by in all its glory . Would definitely recommend this as a lovely experience.

    Tour with Tea
Was a great tour with interesting insights, Tea was very professional and excellent in guiding the tour. She offered a mix of interesting facts, stories (even about lies, myths) and was ready to answer any question about the life at College and in Cambridge.

Good to have Danxia tour guide and Kulvinder driver today, The tour is amazingly bilingual with Mandarin and English. I love it and it is easier for me to absorb information. The tour guide is professional to tell us follow which route and what time getting on bus, and also introduce some interesting stories and famous spots. She also comes to and looks after everyone to ask more about our next itinerary. She suggests many good advice to us. However, the travelling time is long, 2hr x3=6 hr on bus, also the noon time in cambridge is not enough, I cant get in restaurant or even walk around whole city. Also the bus has a tablet in front of seat, but no wifi can stably provide. Overall, it is a memorable experience.

When I came out of the Cambridge station I walked straight into a young man at a kiosk selling punting tour tickets. Though I wanted to do a punting tour while in Cambridge, I was not certain that it was the best way to see the colleges, but I bought a ticket and boy am I glad I did! It was a long walk to the river, but what followed was totally worth it. Luckily for us, it was a cloudy day and there weren't too many tourists, so we had the boat to ourselves. Arun was a fantastic chauffeur and guide. We throughly enjoyed his jokes and the the information about the city and the university he shared with us. I highly recommend this experience if ever you find yourself in Cambridge.

Our first time in Cambridge. You can’t walk all the way along the water backing onto the colleges as privately owned. Our guide was Jack and we had a lovely 45 mins trip today. If it’s a quiet time of day, always worth asking for a deal and a few £££ off. We paid £50 for the 2 of us.

I attended the tour today with one other. The operator first talked about their passion for photography along with their experience and what style of photography they prefer taking and why.

We were then asked our experience in photography, what we enjoy and what moments we want to capture.

Even though we started bad weather it didnt stop the tour and eventually the weather improved and then took us on a route around the areas of the colleges with unique oppourtunities to access areas which normally are closed to the public.

Once we finished around the colleges we then took a couple of routes to other areas of Cambridge with unique architecture and perfect views to snap up many memories.

The operator discussed about times where they have captured unique moments while working in Cambridge talking a little about history but more for the unique moments and explaining parts of the city.

I would recommend this oppourtunity to explorer Cambridge and learn more about the city while capturing many memories with the best advice on how to capture them.

Chuck was welcoming and engaging from the moment we met him at the Quay. The tour was very interesting and we loved going down dark and eerie passageways and alleyways to hear equally dark and eerie stories. Chuck told the tales with knowledge and humour, and captivated the audience at each location. The time passed too quickly and we could have listened to his stories for much longer. What a beautifully stunning city to listen to these tales.

Dick was knowledgeable and amiable guide. My family thoroughly enjoyed his insights into Cambridge history especially around World War II and the RAF.

I recommend the Cambridge audio tour. There was some “friction” getting my code to unlock the tour. There’s a small bit of the tour that’s out of sate as it makes a detour to avoid an entrance previously closed due to Covid-19.

But overall my experience was positive.
It’s a well written tour with factual information rather than the made uo anecdotes and ghost stories aome tour guides offer.

I booked two months ago through TripAdvisor and was able to pay with plenty of time. I booked for 5 people. I was able to rearrange the time after booking which was super easy.
Punting was amazing. Tour guide was brilliant. 45-minute trip.
We were able to eat and drink on the journey.
Finding it was hard as stopped outside Kings College with the address bit found someone with the bike. We were then told were to get the punting. Only a few minute walk from Kings Collegr to the punting
Lots of boats and tour guides.

I enjoyed going around the mix of Cambridge center and then out to the American cemetery. The bus ran to time and driver was very helpful. However the bus itself was very rattly and together with the poor surface of the roads made for a bumpy ride. The headphone system did not seem to work but the commentary was relayed over the load speaker - too loud but might still have been difficult to hear if a noisy crowd on board.
