Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Not a world-class museum (for example, the dinosaurs are all reproductions), but fun to go through, with many exhibits, giving a good overview of New Zealand's culture, history and fauna. It's an entertaining way to get an easy understanding of the country.

We made a point of going to the Maritime Museum and were not disappointed. The exhibits were informative and interesting. It is great for the entire family and is a must if you are trying to get a sense of the history of Auckland.

After the rather soulless Auckland CBD, it was nice to walk a couple of kilometres to Ponsonby; a place with a good vibe, lots of people sitting at cafes, vintage stores and upmarket boutiques too. Loads of good restaurants and food options. And if you take a stroll down the side streets of Ponsonby Road, you’ll be charmed by the lovely period homes, wide tree lined streets and tranquility.

I walked Queen Street a few times while in Auckland and it was always an interesting experience. There are nice shops here both local and high end, same goes to restaurants. I found a few nice dessert shops here and bubble tea. Every time I was here, it was busy. It's a shopping street, I didn't really have any expectations, so it was fine!

When four of us finally boarded the ‘Hop-on Hop-off’ bus, we had every intention of getting off at the Mudbrick Vineyard. But when we reached that stop, it was very clear that everyone else had the same idea !!!
So we stayed on board until we reached the Tantalus Estate. And boy, am I glad we did.
The grounds, highly informative staff and all the wines (and accompanying ‘small plates’) that we tasted were amazing.
If you’re looking to try some wine tasting on Waiheke Island, don’t be a lemming !!!

There are 2 big indoor gardens with beautiful flowers in all different colours and also some plants which looked like tomato plants, and it is beautiful to look at, but I was surprised that they had no smell.

I recommend visiting before 3PM during the weekdays. And visit first thing in the morning during the weekends. The rush is crazy after school and traffic can be chaotic.

A huge display of air crafts used during WWII. Also model of aircraft fighting in Malaya/Singapore. There are interactive activities attraction for children. Our two grandchildren enjoyed them. There is also a film narrative and seats for sitdown view. We took the Tram from the zoo to this muxium and back. Very convenient. Our time well spent.

I have been visiting my partners family in NewZealand for 20years and we always like exploring but we were totally blown away with how special the caves are.Definetly the best attraction in NewZealand for me.

My partner originally a Kiwi was totally blown away none of his family had been there.

    A must see.

    Definitely for the adventurous.
My Darling is 69 and I'm 57 but I couldn't imagine alot of our friends being able to do it as they are overweight and not fit enough.

Thanks so much to the owners/ and host with the most.
Phil and Anne are definitely the salt of the earth people and we felt so privileged and inspired to meet them.
At 77 Phil guided us unbelievably, Sharpe, bloody fit bloody funny.
    Just absolute legends

Pretty cool hotel with an emphasis on sustainability. The only problem I had really was that the rooms were a little small. Seemed that there was not a lot of space to set out our luggage. The location was great and everyone at the hotel was very helpful. I would stay there again

Follow the yellow brick path to an amazing gallery, full of artistic treasures. We spent a good while browsing and chatting to the friendly owner/artist.

The casino id fine as always and fun. We Dec to eat in Food Republic where the food is on OK meal. It was the length of time it took to order that was a problem. There were 4 staff behind the checkouts and not one of them was taking orders. They had to make drinks and prepare things which took them away from dealing with the queue forming .Not their fault, they need beer management to make sure everything moves along quickly. It is a bad setup.
