Beginning from the city of sails, Auckland, to far of the levels and heights of the Waikato region to no other place then Hobbiton. Accompanied by professional and educational Maori driver who will brightly enlighten and teach you some major things about this country and its region.
I always knew to meet some of them and hear their stories again, and magically it felt like I would have done I for the first time again. This whole thing, the whole tour from Auckland to Hobbiton and back again. This is not your average hop-on hop-off tour, THIS is the real deal of the North Island and it will always bear a special place deep within my heart.🫶

The driver was super funny and had super much knowledge about the landscape/ cities you drive past. The guides at Hobbiton and waitamo caves was also funny and gave good info about the sites.

Stopped at appropriate times for food and bathroom breaks. Smooth and safe driver. The tour at the Māori center was fantastic. Really enjoyed the geothermal park, which was self-guided. - Alexia Y4 contributionsWhen I book a tour with a guide, I never know quite what to expect, especially with teenage kids, but what a great day we had.
Our guide Mr Burhan was super kind and lovely. The drive was long but the scenery was gorgeous and we also were able to catch up on our sleep a little too.
Wai O Tapu is beautiful, with a well planned walk weaving between the lakes and craters. The last lake before the exit was surreal.
The Polynesian spa was extremely relaxing. There were pools of different temperatures and a cold plunge pool as well. We all felt super refreshed. It did not feel touristy at all, even though we were all tourists!
Our guide took time out to stop at different sights along the way for photos opportunities which was appreciated. Complimentary water and energy bars were available. Dirk was a pro and it was great to be able to go into the 3/4 size fully furnished hobbit hole.
