Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Diver1238 contributionsHad the most amazing time diving the Poor Knights with the New Zealand Diving team. Good communication, equipment, briefing, guide and excellent dive sites. - Mez408Dubai, United Arab Emirates3 contributionsAbsolutely wonderful trip. Grant was so knowledgeable about the Island and we learned so much. We saw korora, gannets, and had a wonderful time. - Samantha PChristchurch, New Zealand8 contributionsBest day ever! The SailFit luxury wellness day retreat in New Zealand was unforgettable and one of the best days I've had in a long time!
The SailFit coaches were so kind, professional and inspiring. The luxury yacht was EPIC! And, of course, the scenery was unbelievably gorgeous.
Best moment of the day (albeit so hard to just choose one) was doing beach yoga on Rotoroa Island with the salt in my hair, sun on my skin and good vibes that made this crazy world feel alright again :)Written 2 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We both had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our day fishing with plenty of fish to take home.Written 1 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SFZinggPeelDunedin, New Zealand19 contributionsMy husband and I had booked Anna from Global Dive as a personal guide for a trip to the Poor Knights, as my husband wanted some one-on-one attention after a couple of not so good diving experiences. We went out to the Poor Knights on a boat from Yukon Dive and Anna delivered absolutely outstanding service. My husband is back to being happy with diving, and I had one of the best if not the best days' diving I have ever had, partially thanks the totally stunning dive sites at the Poor Knights, but mostly thanks to Anna's great help and awesome knowledge. I would not have seen half the amazing sights during the two dives if Anna had not done such an awesome job of finding and pointing them out.Written 13 February 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - spoons110Shrewsbury, UK114 contributionsThis is the second time i've used these guys on a trip to New Zealand. The first time I went to the Poor Knights with them and the second (last week) went to Mathesons Bay. The equipment was all new this year and the BCD & Regs i used had never been used before. James gives a good briefing and is very professional as well as accommodating. The only problem is that you will buy "stuff" as the shop is amazing.Written 20 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - WafflesChiang Mai, Thailand30 contributionsMy family and I visited NZ over Christmas. Epic scuba has quality rental gear and the dive master did a bang up job of explaining the dive and pointing out hidden creatures on our Goat Island marine reserve dive. Great people and the pie shop near by was an added treat.Written 22 February 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - crocteaserBali, Indonesia296 contributionsThese guys looked after me when the weather turned bad and let me hold on to the rental gear until it got better.
