Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We enjoyed a fun and informative few hours with two 4-year olds and two 1-year olds. The older ones enjoyed the show, especially the demonstrations with the sheepdogs and the shearing of a very woolly sheep! They also had a great time feeding various farm animals and walking the eco-trail. Lunch and playtime in the big picnic/play area were a big hit too. Good value for money and the profits go to a wonderful cause for young people.

Mt Atkinson is one of the best cafes in Auckland. They’re not just a cafe but roasters as well so they roast their own coffee beans and sell them for retail as well. Coffee’s the best I’ve tried so far and the only coffee beans I use since trying them first time. They definitely know their stuff when it comes to coffee. Food’s great as well. They do the best bagels and they have a new menu that’s worth trying. Bagel and coffee’s a great match. Ranui, Oratia, Glen Eden and Hendersona re some of my fave. They do the best chips! Cafe itself has great atmosphere and industrial interior that is instagram-worthy. Customer service is excellent as all staff are super friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience everytime I go to Mt Atkinson. Highly recommended!

We recently visited Devonport for our second visit to this town. After browsing the main street looking for local artist (did not locate any on this visit), found this little gem. The coffee was up to the standard that you would expect in NZ, smooth, creamy, consistent and of a high standard. The café has internal seating, warm and welcoming, great for buying local beans and coffee accessories. Highly recommended for a great coffee.
