We found great results, but some are outside Favara. Showing results in neighbouring cities.
Limit search to Favara.

When anywhere in Italy, especially the South & Sicily seeing as many beautiful churches is near the top of my list after the Food, and other major sights.
There is still a sense of the sacred in this church, as well as a clear view into layers of the history of Sicily.

... columns include an entablature mounted over the foundings of an originary temple 31 x 13.39 m, and which would have been a Doric perypteros with 6 x 13 columns, just like the other temples on the Valley site.
I was looking at it in the view of the city of Agrigento laing behind and was thinking that even after 1000years this will still be standing, but I was not sure about the city with nowadays architecture.
