We stayed in Georgetown/ Seven Mile beach and wanted to explore the East End and be a little more active than sitting on the beach. Eco Rides definitely fills that need! We did the Cayman Inland Escape- we saw so many amazing sites, learned about the history of the island, and got in a workout despite the intermittent rain. Shane excels at personalized attention, stopping when needed and keeping it interesting. He is a font of knowledge! Like everyone else, I enjoyed meeting his dogs, checking out the caves at his family house, and eating mangos and coconut. The photos he took are spectacular and a wonderful reminder of our visit.
Shane's neighbor gifted us a mango jam (delicious straight from the jar) in the spirit of island hospitality. I mentioned I wanted to try cassava cake, and Shane called Vivine's Kitchen to reserve me two slices and even picked it up for me when I took a break. The only thing I'd consider next time is wearing covering clothing or mosquito repellant- I would have enjoyed the cistern more that way. This visit was my third time to Grand Cayman, but I have never had an experience like this-- completely worth it!!

My family of four visited Stingray City and the Bioluminescent Boat Tour with White Sand Water Sports. We thoroughly enjoyed both activities. We felt safe on the boat, learned about the area and the stingrays/dinoflagellates, and were entertained along the way. Part of the Stingray City visit was a snorkel on a nearby reef. We snorkeled at least five other locations on our vacation, but this area was by far our favorite. The water was the most clear and the fish simply beautiful. White Sand was perfect for us because we don't enjoy crowded, touristy-feeling activities; there were 9-10 people total on each trip. We also loved that White Sand leaves from Kaibo, which is less crowded than the Georgetown area, and the boat ride shorter. White Sand was extremely responsive through email prior to and during our vacation, which helped us easily plan our activities. I highly recommend doing both tours through White Sand Water Sports.

We have been visiting Grand Cayman for many years but never tire of visiting and playing with the sting rays and snorkeling. Ocean Frontiers provides a great trip at a reasonable price. My husband and I actually did the trip twice during our two week visit to the island. We had different folks visiting each week and wanted them all to experience this! Ben and Pierre were our guides for both of our trips. They were very professional, informative and helpful. I have done this trip many times with different companies and feel that Ocean Frontiers offers one of the best experiences. Their boat is smaller (only 12 guests) which makes the experience much better. I have been on the larger catamaran trips which you are literally bumping into all the other guests in the water!. Ben’s instructions for both the snorkeling and stingray experience were clear and helpful. Ben and Pierre made sure everyone was able to interact with the sting rays, as they felt comfortable. The spot they took us for snorkeling was beautiful. The marine life was abundant. In addition to other fish, we were able to see parrot fish, eagle rays, a moray eel. We were given plenty of time in the water for both the snorkeling and sting rays. My advice for this trip would be go in the morning and on a day when the cruise ships are not on the island so you are not competent with their excursions. You can google the cruise ship schedule to find this information.

Because of the airline issues with cancellations, we arrived 3 days late to CI. While my wife was checking in at Morritts I walked over to the bar. The guy standing next to me looked familiar. In looking up things to do on Trip advisor, I wanted to go fishing with Captain Herman. And there he was right in front of me. I felt bad because I didn't think I could fit it in with the amount of time we had lost getting there. Fortunately, my new friend decided to go again, and I had a partner to go with. To be completely honest, this was easily the best thing I did during our stay. We caught a bunch of fish and I was tired. We didn't have a room that morning because of the airlines, but Brett stepped up again and hosted Captain Herman to cook our catch in his room. It was terrific. I ate the leftovers for the next 2 days and look forward to trying to replicate it at home. If you haven't ever done anything like this, do it and have him cook for you. He is a super nice man, and the real deal when it comes to fishing. And he can cook a bit too. And a huge shout out of Thank You to my friend Brett!

The big boats at stingray city looked overbooked and people were waiting an eternity to get off and back on. We spent our time doing whatever we wanted with great suggestions from our crew. HIghly recommend Crystal Charters.
