Fabulous views of many of Greater Manchester's towns plus Manchester city centre where you can see the Beetham Tower standing proud, the UK's only skyscraper outside London.
Such a nice place to walk with family and friends it's a short challenging walk but could do with a cafe at the top of some sorts so you can grab a cuppa at the top and look at the view!

We spent time wandering the stables, saying hello to the horses, admiring the views and topped it all off with a delicious lunch.
... I've had an essential oil stand at the Christmas Fair; I've attended a networking event here, and also experienced an Equestrian Facilitated Learning Taster event so seen it from different view points.
Rochdale Town Hall Rochdale, UK 12.9 km away

Highlights for us were the views from outside, the amazing staircase, Mayor's parlour and of course the Great Hall, where we heard an organ recital.
There is also a virtual tour available on the Rochdale town hall site.

This building had on display portraits from the national portrait gallery and a huge textile collection which is well worth a view.
