They were patient when we made them wait a little longer while we were finalising things at the restaurant, and we are so grateful. It was easy to book online, the bus arrived at the pick up point that was so convenient for us and our driver was kind and helpful with information as we were driving from Banff to Lake Louise & Moraine Lake. The seats were cramped, offering little legroom, which made the journey feel longer and more tiring. The bus was also quite crowded, and the air conditioning didn’t seem to be working effectively, making the atmosphere stuffy and uncomfortable. We were walking through the village and stopped the driver asking if he was going to the fairmont (I didn’t realize it was a private charter)…he was in between pickups and took us anyway!! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and ensured our safety and comfort throughout the journey. Despite the winter conditions, the tour bus was cozy and comfortable, allowing us to enjoy the breathtaking scenery without any worries. - AbelCheungNepean, Canada5 contributionsThe first part of the shuttle was fine, we arrived at Lake Louise without any problem, and we were also able to get on the shuttle to visit Lake moraine. When we were ready to go back from Lake Moraine to the park and ride, the line up was incredibly long and they were suppose to have bus every 25 minutes but we were all waiting for like 90minutes, at around 7 pm which should be the last bus to go back to the park and ride, it came with 3 buses and they picked up the majority of the people onto the buses; however, there were still people waiting in line to be picked up. I hope they didn’t end up walking back. I can understand the capacity issue from lake to lake, therefore, you need to control how many people at each lake site, but it shouldn’t be a concern at the park and ride as people are leaving from there. - R A2 contributionsTL;DR - Prepaid for a private shuttle, but it never arrived, and the company was unresponsive. Only after a chargeback did they offer a refund. Unreliable and unethical.
We prepaid for a private shuttle service, expecting a smooth and reliable experience, especially since we were traveling with two toddlers. We specifically chose this shuttle service over an Uber because they offered child car seats, which we needed and paid extra for. Unfortunately, it turned into an absolute nightmare. After arriving at the airport, we were left stranded with no shuttle in sight. I called the company 6-7 times, left voice messages, sent texts, and emailed, but got no response whatsoever. It was as if they had vanished, leaving us to scramble for alternative transportation with two small children, which was both stressful and expensive.
What made it even worse was the company’s utter lack of accountability. No one ever got back to me to explain what happened or offer any form of assistance. Only after opening a chargeback with my credit card company, they finally sent me an email claiming they "missed" us at the airport and would be refunding the payment. The refund came only after I took the drastic step of initiating a chargeback.
Their lack of professionalism and complete disregard for their customers' time and well-being is unacceptable. No one should have to go through such an ordeal. I highly advise avoiding this company—they are unethical and unreliable. Both lakes and surrounding mountains were beautiful and as an added bonus we saw a mother grizzly and her cub on our return journey.
Austin was our guide for the day, he picked us up on time , the coach was clean and he was well organised and he was a good communicator and gave local knowledge / facts as we went along.
