Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Derin R5 contributionsWhat a fantastic couple of hours! It’s one of those sports I’ve always wanted to try, and it didn’t disappoint. The facility is on the edge of town and houses both curing and an ice rink that’s used for skating and hockey. Our instructor (Bryon?) was so helpful and his easy relaxed tuition made everyone in the group get the most out of the experience. 100% recommend this. We’ll definitely be back next year.Written 5 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Barbara HNatrona Heights, PA38 contributionsWalked in because I coach skating and wanted to see their rink. Such a gorgeous facility and they have a real curling rink, not just curling circles on a hockey rink. Chatted with a program director (?) of the curling area, and he was super informative. They have learn to curl on Tuesday nights at 7:30 for $25 a person. We brought our figure skates from home and skated on the outdoor skating loop. The ceiling of the hockey rink was stunningWritten 23 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Taylor O1 contributionAwesome experience with friendly staff. We did the Marvin’s diner room with 4 people and it was a good amount of time for the difficulty level that it was. Next time we are in Banff we want to try the other escape room they have! Looking forward to it.Written 24 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Helen RCanmore, Canada194 contributionsLucked out finding parking behind the Banff Springs. Enjoyed a photo op at the Van Horne statue at turnabout, then arrived a bit earlier than scheduled as their first early afternoon guests. It was a refreshingly cool oasis and the shoes were even comfortable with my bad bunion. It was an outing with 6 and 8 yr old grandchildren, one of whom had never bowled. Erin got us all set up and made us feel extremely comfortable. I like when the machines do all the scoring. We had just eaten a big breakfast so food/drink was not on our agenda. It was a humbling experience, since gutter balls occurred all too frequently for each one of us. Erin was a superb hostess and an asset to this fun place, where it is fun to try something different. I was unable to figure out the pricing. If it was on their website, I did not see it before our arrival.Written 2 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David nManchester, UK4,887 contributionsyes, this place does have a great range of craft beers though after 21.00 (and all day Mondays, I think) they serve $5 pints so it gets pretty loud especially with all other offers on cocktails. On a Friday, they start queueing outside the door from around 20.30.
So, best to go earlier if you want a quiet-er drink :)Written 9 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. What a cute little cinema right in town. The staff are really lovely.
We booked tickets online. Very easy process online.Written 15 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
