Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Extra-ordinarily picturesque with the mountain at one end of this street. Very easy to take photos from the middle of the road which has pedestrian areas. the street itself is home to a wide range of shops - sweet shops, chocolate, soaps, Xmas shop and lots of eateries, bars and restaurants.

We were planning to go to the Cascade of Time Garden but unfortunately, there was no garden during our visit (April 14). The place offers a spectacular view of Banff Avenue and Cascade Mountain.

[Located just after the Bow River Bridge, at the end of Banff Avenue. Simply push open the steel gate to access the place.]

Tucked away in the lower floor of Glyde Hall is this great place that exhibits amazing contemporary art. The halls are very spacious with great lighting, and they get fascinating shows in. We were at the Banff Centre to take in the Mountain Film Festival, and popped in to see was on offer. Staff were helpful and friendly, and very campy exhibit really complemented the films at the festival.

My husband and kids stoped by here for a quick photo op. It was night/early evening when we stopped so there was no one in line. The next day we drove by and the line was long—decide whether waiting in line for a picture is worth your time or go at a time when there is no one else around. May do, not a must do.

A handy place to stop along highway 1 to see Mount Rundle, and others, with big wooden fingers pointing each mountain out. Well worth 15 minutes
