- Tuesday_Moon8Martinez, CA153 contributionsWe happily discovered this last week and I wish we had all day to spend here. Over 40 artists studios and galleries and restaurant. If you are an at lover and want to support the arts I highly recommend that you visit. . The building is huge and divided up into sections. It's just so fun! Next time we visit we are setting aside at least half a day to spend looking at art and engaging with the artists.Written 23 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We have ordered 5 pieces of art from them and they were all shipped to Dallas, Texas. Very easy experience. The pieces were not damaged in transport. You can’t beat the prices for the quality. - BobbyK312Beijing, China347 contributionsI come sit here every day. It's become my routine to get a late-morning cup of coffee and just sit here and soak up the vibe. And I'm often here late afternoon or evenings as well. The park is spotless, it seems there are people sweeping the pathways 24x7. There is often wandering musicians, sometimes groups of 6 - 10 people playing and singing. And the view of the Parroquia is stunning. It's just a fantastic place to sit and relax. There are vendors selling ice cream and other food depending on the day, and there are often events, like food markets, or crafts fairs on the square. My favorite spot in SMdA!Written 8 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Bonnie LLos Angeles, CA126 contributionsIt is mind boggling to imagine the days of long ago when another culture lived and reigned in the outskirts of San Miguel de Allende. Mr. Coffee is an expert in archeology of this area. His love for the area is very evident. It can be hot so be sure to take a hat and water. The walk is a bit on the uphill, but nothing too strenuous. The transportation from town is easy and the morning ran smoothly. It is nice seeing the country side away from the activities in the city center.Written 20 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Meg M2 contributionsThis is a high end, high quality gallery that features authentic Mexican folk art. All of the artists are identified and most pieces signed. The collection is an outstanding array of hand crafted items including ceramics, textiles, metalwork and sculptures. The gallery is in a beautiful setting surrounded by pools that made Atotonilco famous. It is an easy Uber ride from San Miguel de Allende and can be included as a side trip after seeing the fantastic church at Atotonilco.Written 6 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - viajePALZBethel Park, PA411 contributionsVery clean market, very nice shops. Great variety too. I expected better prices than in the centro but really can’t say they were. Some things were the same, but others were not of the same quality. It was supposed to be open until 7 but many shops were closed late afternoon. We went in a Tuesday , and it is possible that most people were at the “Tuesday Market.” Still a nice place to visit. Just know your comparable prices! There was a clean restroom there but 10 pesos for TP!Written 11 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
