I imagine it could be quite crowded depending on the day. There were several families there but not too crowded. Also a few snorkel individuals. Plenty of room to spread out. Interesting concrete structures not far off shore. Maybe leftover from the war? Beautiful white sand beaches! Wonderful view and great place to layout on the beach or on a beach chair. The waves were fun though there were some large waves that came in from time to time. Always important to keep an eye on the ocean for your safety. Enjoyed our walk along the beach. I would recommend buying a snorkel set and just enjoy a day relaxing as you view the tropical fish in their natural habitat. It is very refreshing, safe, and calming.

Skip the ridiculously priced chairs and the roped-in area and just grab a spot on the beach on the southwest side of the island if winds are from the east. Can find black-tipped sharks on east side in the early AM and afternoon, but it was too rough over there when I went. Avoid the area around the dock and just outside the roped area as boats traverse these areas. Bring your own snorkel gear. Prices were a bit high, but kind of expected given things have to be shipped in. There were multiple food stands from which to choose, and we took our meals to go back to our hotel. - Chuck V9 contributionsIt's a nice little aquarium. I was expecting more, especially for the price but it was fun. I did the Sea Trek underwater adventure which was a lot of fun. All the people there were great. The guys that went in the tank with me were awesome.
