The high points were the views, shallow waters, ample seating with sun or shade even though the island is on the smaller side. There were a few large groups from multiple cruises coming and going, but it didn't feel too over crowded. The buildings and chairs were not as updated or premier as the photos and website eluded to me when I did my research. It does have a somewhat rustic, beachy feel, which was fine for me and my family, but I was expecting a more exclusive experience. The lounge chairs were quite rusty and some not in great shape. The weather and views and water and watching out kids playing on the sand and ocean detracted from any of the other aesthetics. We received a lunch ticket and redeemed them, but it was not nearly enough food and there was no snack shops to supplement, nor were we advised by our cruise line or agent to pack snacks specifically for this excursion. Our lunch consisted of one chicken leg, some rice and mixed vegetables. Beverages, except warm water, was an additional charge. Finally, if we had had some more food we would have been wanting to stay longer. Our ferry to the island was 30 minutes late, which got us to the island around 11:30 and we had to depart at 3pm. It was almost too much travel time and effort. Wished we would have arrived at 9 or 10am, considering the cruise allows for passengers to depart at 7:30 am.
