Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

White Island doesn’t have turtles but it is absolutely gorgeous with white sand and dazzling turquoise water.

There is no more perfect beach. The aquatic life makes for rewarding snorkelling.
The views are stunning, the sun is hot and the breezes and the shade trees make for the best day at the beach.

Lovely location and excellent customer service. The drinks were made to perfection, the lunch was delicious. Kala our server was very sweet and attentive. Would have given 5 stars except that the wifi was down while we were there, and some lounge chairs or daybeds would have been nice since it's a beach club. Everything else, 100% recommend!

What a beautiful bay. At a quick count we are close to about 120 boats in the bay. Shore is lined with eateries & shops. Lovely big grocery store called Alexis for provisioning. Next door is a laundry, where the lady will take care of all your needs. Most eateries offer free Wi-Fi . The island is a MUST STOP for all cruisers

When I came into the Carriacou Museum with my camera, I was told I should not be able to take pictures.

Oh well, I may forget some of them, but that's OK. The cost was 10EC$.

What I didn't forgot is that this place was the oldest cotton gin in the world.

There were interesting carib artifacts of African heritage.

I hope next time I will be able to take pictures.

    Otherwise it is worthwhile!

We were looking for something besides sitting on the beach, Petite Carenage is the place for that! It was super beautiful, lots of wildlife, and the shipwreck is crazy. Loved going to this place, went for a second time to show my family. Highly reccomend!!!

We walked 1.4 km uphill from our stay at Grandview Hotel to the Princess Royal Hospital and just below to this Belair Windmill. Its detailed information board stated it was built in the 1770's by slaves,
then used by them to grind corn until the 19th C. It also mentioned another mill ruins farther on. So we continued 1.6 km passing Top Hill's Senior Center and the Margaret-Mary Catholic Church to find the 2nd windmill ruins that powered the colonial sugar works. It was guarded by barking dogs from the private house next door. Its prominent location had spectacular views of the airport and Hillsborough below. We returned taking the same route which provided extended shoreline views of the windward side of this island. Great exercise with a bit of history on our 4 mile Sunday morning walk.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience with Dive Carriacou. Shaun, Zed, and Vinci were excellent in providing entertaining, professional, and safe dives. We dove four tanks across two days and saw so much life below the surface. Carriacou is a beautiful place to dive and this shop I would recommend to all dive enthusiasts at any level.

My children and I just completed the PADI Open water SCUBA course with Deefer Diving, and we absolutely loved it ! The staff were amazing and made us feel welcome from the first day.
Our diving instructors Steeve and Nora were cool and made us feel comfortable underwater.
Diving in Carriacou is amazing, and with a knowledgeable team like at Deefer Diving, it makes the experience even more enjoyable. The equipment provided was very good.
This course was exactly what I had dreamed of.
    Thank you Deefer Diving !

One of the absolute highlights of our special wedding anniversary holiday in Grenada! We did a day trip on the catamaran, just the two of us with local crew, Andre and Dean, from 9.30am to 4pm. They were so welcoming and helpful, and great company. All pre-booked from England with the very helpful Lottie, itinerary our choice. So we motored (torn sail) from the harbour in Hillsborough, Carriacou, out to Saline Island, moored there and swam with turtles. No one else around, just 10 or so turtles. The water was perfect for snorkelling, clear and warm, and the turtles were chilled. It was absolutely amazing. We also snorkelled over the reef there and saw all sorts of colourful fish. We then had a lovely oriental tuna noodle salad on board for lunch, and as many drinks whenever we wanted. We swam there again, and then motored off to Sandy Island, where we snorkelled over that reef, seeing even more varieties of colourful fish, plus a flounder and a pufferfish! We had a wander along the island with the crew, spotting hermit crabs and a wall of dead coral. We then motored back to Hillsbrough, whilst munching on a delicious variety of fruit/vegetables and cheese. An idyllic day with lovely guys.

My diving experience with the Lumbadive club led by Diane on the island of Cariacou in the Grenadines was exceptional! Diane and her team are competent and passionate professionals. They have created a warm and safe atmosphere for all divers, from beginners to experts. The dive sites were magnificent, full of colorful and diverse marine life. I highly recommend the Lumbadive club to anyone who wants an unforgettable diving experience in the Grenadines.

Nice day with Froggy and his crew. He took us to all the popular places and a few hidden gems. He is very knowledgeable of the history of the island and his ocean picnic was really tasty!

I was in Carriacou for a beginner kitesurf course in March 2024. I really enjoyed it and had a great time learning the basic of kitesurfing. Patto is an excellent instructor with a high level of professionalism and a great safety awareness. With his great passion for the Kytesurfing and his patience, he took the time to explain how and why it was important to learn the proper technics and all safety manners of the sport. I spent a week in Carriacou and progressed rapidly in this new watersport for me. it was fun and highly recommended to anyone. A special thanks goes to Poky as well, another experienced instructor on the site, also sharing his knowledge during the course at 5ElementsPro. I am just looking forward to be back in Carriacou for more kitesurfing. Merci beaucoup Patto and Julie for your delicious croissants. Thumps up all the way! Bob
