Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent! Very friendly, safe, knowledgeable, efficient and tidy. Easy ladders to climb out of water, load and unload.

Fabulous home-cooked local-ingredient lunch and drinks!

Snorkeled with guides and the group and saw all the underwater statues and then snorkeled at a second spot on a reef. Many colorful fish and coral seen. Such a great time was had!

Beautiful boat and fun dogs aboard. All snorkeling gear was in good shape and no fins were needed. Great music!

Weather was perfect and water was calm and crystal clear!

Loved looking at the book, describing the statues and their meanings. Wonderful color photos to view.

    I highly recommend this activity!

Great day trip with interesting guide, Rolly, who provided history as well as scenic commentary. Transport van was well air conditioned, clean and comfortable.
Lunch was superb at Mount Edgecombe Hotel. No need for any other tour.
Suggestion: either provide some bottled water or advise guests to bring water

Rennie was an amazing tour guide and driver! He stopped at various points on the trip to let us take pictures, tell us about a sight we were passing, and even he pulled over to pick us some nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon bark. Our favorite part of the tour was visiting the Rosemont Plantation House where we tried various fruits including mangos, coconut, bananas, papaya, and even guava juice! We even got to take home lots of extra fruit from the plantation! Another highlight was stopping at a local bar for a beer and to watch some cricket in Gouyave. This tour was easily the most memorable part of our Grenada trip and is a most do activity for anyone visiting the country. My only advice would be to pack some snacks and maybe pack some dramamine if you are someone who gets motion sickness as the roads in the rainforest are extremely curvy and narrow.

We had an excellent 5 hour day with Al. We have been on several similar tours in the West Indies and Al was the best guide we have had. He is very knowledgeable, a smooth driver with a no rush attitude. We covered all the high points. We also learned a lot of Grenada history.
Booking was very easy by WhatsApp.

First off, if you are on the island of Grenada, you ABSOLUTELY MUST, take this magical little trip off the coast!! We went back to Grenada for the second year in a row and we went out with these lovely folks for a second time. Last year and again this year the highlight of our entire trip! Marc and his wife are fabulous hosts, the crew is second to none! and the dogs, well, what can you say, they love nothing better than to hang out with you and relax while you do.
    We WILL be back again!
We cant thank you guys enough for your hospitality! It was a pleasure and a privilege to sail along the coast with you for even just a few hours :)

Jeremy was a great guide. He was knowledgeable, fun, patient, and kind. He gave us a great snapshot of the Island. The food was very good. I might not of tried some of it on my own. I would definitely recommend him.

My wife and I booked a PRIVATE full day tour through their website toursgrenada.com. This tour was PERFECT for us! The owner (Marc (sp?)) and his wife (Ivan (sp?)) were so nice and accommodating. The boat was very well maintained. The service couldn't have been better. The dogs were amazing with their impressive swimming skills and effortless leisure while on the boat! The snorkeling spots were all incredible. There was no pressure, no rush, just pure relaxation. Drinks were always there when we wanted them. And the food!!!! Ivan is a true culinary genius! We literally have no complaints and will book this cruise again if we come back to Grenada!

Our guides were amazing! Denzel gave a great tour of the island. Randy was the best guide for the hike. He showed us everything and was really patient! The swim near the falls was so refreshing. We saw monkeys including a baby, all the fruits and spices of the island. Randy ended the tour with a freshly cut open coconut!

Tour to rum distillery, Herband Spice gardens, chocolate shop, and attraction with so much more to see en route. Rum distillers were interesting with restored but no longer used from sugar to rum processed explained, followed by a tasting of 5 rum samples was great fun. Our driver was extremely well informed, showing us landmark sights and plants and habitats as we wound away around hilly and almost mountainous grenada with stunning panoramic views. The spice and herb garden at Laura's was great, with a walking and tasting tour around the gardens, again delightfully informative. We then dropped down into St George's where we visited the house of chocolate which is a smart little museum that plots the history of cocoa and chocolate making on the island. A lot of fun and a break from the sun and beaches !

This was an awesome tour. We went all over - to the highest point on the south end of the island, the atlantic side, one of the most beautiful beaches on the caribbean side and to Hogg island bridge. It was fast paced and incredibly scenic. We would go again in a heartbeat!!

We had an amazing experience! Right from the start Explorer Grenada Tours was on time and our guide/driver Denzel was absolutely fabulous. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. He went out of his way to make sure we had a good time and showed us some great local spots. Also offered to take so many pictures for me which is something I loved.

Our guide for the tubing, Prince, was a champ! He was so fun and made it his priority to make sure we were enjoying ourselves while staying safe in the river. With the water being a bit low during their dry season, Prince got quite the workout helping us along. We can’t thank him enough for the experience.

After the tubing we went to a fresh water lake in the rainforest where we got to meet some monkeys and take in the beauty of our surroundings before heading to annadale falls. We jumped in and swam around for a bit . It was beautiful. we got to have lunch at the local restaurant. Food was delicious.

This experience is a most do if going to Grenada!! Book the Explorer Grenada and you won’t be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our half day tour of Grenada with Big Gwauge Tours. We considered some of the group tours but they all sounded so rushed or just too much time in the car and not enough time to enjoy the stops. So it was really nice to be able to go at our own pace and adjust the plans as we went. Because it was a Sunday, some of the usual sites were closed so we were able to substitute activities that were interesting to us - especially a stop to try some of the delicious local food at a non-touristy restaurant. Thanks to Vondell, we ended the tour feeling like we really got our moneys worth!

We spend a incredible moment! We did snorkeling and paddle board. We tried to catch a fish but sadly we didn't... Next time 😉 The view is amazing!
