What travellers are saying
- A KWilmington, NC38 contributionsI must do while you’re in Curaçao, walk across the floating pontoon Bridge, and make sure you go night so you can admire the lights.Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - A KWilmington, NC38 contributionsYes, the most beautiful beach on the island! We were lucky enough to be there when a family of piglets were hanging out as well. One of our favorite days on the island.Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- InspireMe_365Detroit, MI71 contributionsWe visited most of the beaches during our vacation and this was one of our favorites. We visited twice. The snorkeling is very good and the beach is beautiful. It was not overly crowded and it had very good amenities. The current can get strong if you swim very far past the point on the left. We cannot wait to come back and dive there.Written 21 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Pam SLethbridge, Canada49 contributionsThe beach was soft white, the water crystal clear. We saw fish, stingray, and some corals. The day we went was 30 degrees and no clouds in the sky. When they say use sunscreen, they mean it. My back got very burnt as I was snorkeling for 3 hours straight with my back exposed. Other than that, it was the perfect day. We went with Blue Fin Tis Tours and they were the best. The bbq was delicious and came with an open bar.Written 16 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TomandLiz JAtlanta, GA4 contributionsThe beaches of Curacao are beautiful. We've explored various beaches like Cas Abou, Daaibooi and Mood beach. But we really liked Porto Mari Beach. Besides of the turqoise cristal clear waters, it's a good place to eat some local food and just relax, reading a book or just enjoy of the background music. There is a dive school and a store where I bought some souvenirs. The personel is friendly. I loved it.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- shanita mAtlanta, GA69 contributionsThis was a great experience. There were some students at the museum when we went. I think they were there for a school project. I don't think they were taking their assignment seriously but hopefully what they experienced will seep in later in life. As an African American, I found the exhibits that detailed how slaves were punished or tortured very hard to endure. I heard another patron telling their companion about a time when they took a child to the museum and the child was overwhelmed by the theme of the museum and began to cry. Slavey is a heavy subject but must be discussed at some point. I also found the bottom portion of the museum which was made to resemble a slave ship very disturbing. I tried to picture how the people transported in those conditions must have felt. It was not a good feeling. This is not the first slave museum I have been to but it is better than those I have previously visited. I loved the restaurant/bar in the courtyard of the museum. We stopped for drinks. I fell in love with the mural by the bar.Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Matthew AHartford, NY386 contributionsOne of our favorite beaches on our trip to the island. The snorkeling was great. The crowds are small. We loved the little restaurants close by. We found plenty of space to drop our things without renting a chair. A beautiful spot off the beaten path.Written 28 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jessica MSaratoga Springs, NY160 contributionsOur tour guide Ingo was knowledgeable and fun! We loved learning about Blue Curacao and the other Curacao Liqueurs. The tasting was great and we all had a hard time choosing our cocktail after because there were so many delicious sounding choices on the menu. We all enjoyed relaxing and sipping our cocktail at the end of the tour.Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LauraJWNieuw-Vennep, The Netherlands4 contributionsThe tour was about 45 minutes, it was a fun activity but the cave was not to big. The tour guide was very nice and did a great job telling us about the cave and the history of the island. Definitely a fun activity to do if you are looking for something different than the beach.Written 14 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
