Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- dealfinderblueCornwall, Canada96 contributionsThe seaport casino was a great casino one of the bigger ones on the island, the machines seemed to payout better than average for us.Written 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - souldancer2Minneapolis, MN381 contributionsSmall but very interesting museum in Oranjastad. It is free but we made a donation which is always nice to support such efforts. It was a nice way to familiarize ourselves with the history of Aruba and an important stop on our trip!Written 4 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jennifer G2 contributionsI stopped in Aruba with a cruise. As I was looking for something different to do, I decided to look into Marion's glass bead workshop. I was delighted to find out my stop coincided with one of the glass bead workshop days. As a complete newbie to creating glass ANYTHING, the instructor/owner was very refreshing. She provided us with the basic understanding of how glass reacts with heat and then taught us how to make several different types of beads. By the end of the class, I had enough beads to create two bracelets.Written 29 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - richard cMedway, MA1 contributionLucky has been our go-to person at Gemani Jewelers for years. He has always provided excellent service and recommendations on our annual travel to Aruba. We have purchased watches, rings, bracelets, necklaces, all at reasonable prices. We have visited both locations of Gemani at downtown Orangestad and at their convenient Palm Beach store in the Marriott Stellaris.Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cruiser819853New Rochelle, NY20 contributionsAttending high holy day services at Beth Israel Synagogue in Aruba was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment you enter the synagogue you are treated like ‘family’. The services were all inclusive. I was hesitant about traveling during the holiday. I contacted Rabbi Dan in advance and he assured me we would be welcome. We will definitely return during our yearly visit to Aruba. - Ashfield531Ringwood, UK1,026 contributionsThis is a wonderfully colourful building in the Dutch colonial style so it has great character and well worth viewing. However the shops are quite disappointing so there will not be much to tempt you to stop for any time.Written 27 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Previa1994Chicago, IL6,377 contributionsWe stopped at Fort Zoutman on a walking tour of Oranjestad on a beautiful sunny day. The walk was great but our timing was not good as the Historic Museum at the fort was closed. But, we enjoyed exploring the fort tower from the street and whatever exhibits in the surroundings. A metal placard at the fort was pretty informative about the history of the fort and its current use as a museum. It was a nice quick stop in spite of not going inside the museum (requires fees).Written 1 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Highly recommended.Written 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
