We loved hiking the Cleetwood Cove Trail at Crater Lake National Park.
This hike is steep, but it's the only way to access a boat tour of the lake, which is one of the great ways to experience this wonder of nature.

Crater Lake National Park is only 30-40 mins away and that is definitely worth seeing as well.

WIZARD ISLAND is arguably the ultimate in scenery on or near the Pacific Coast, because Crater Lake itself is beautiful, where this lake's majesty is enhanced by the symmetrical nature of Wizard Island.
One of the most beautiful lakes in the world is in the collapsed volcano at Crater Lake National Park.

The sunset from the Fire Watch Tower was fantastic and there were 360 degree views of the lake along with the south and west sides of the park.
You can see Wizard Island from the top, and you can appreciate the whole park from this vantage point.

Once there, you'll be regaled with very colorful views of the falls, which contrast with the vegetation, and the rocks, making ir one of the most photogenic areas of the park.
We hiked this park of the park and had it all to ourselves and about 200+ butterflies.

I really loved this hike, which starts from the lodge area and takes you up to the highest part of the park about 8900 feet.
A must do if you love to walk among nature.
