Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The gondola ride combined with the awe inspiring views from the base, during the ride and from the top are breathtaking and well worth a visit.

We drove a 4 hour round trip and I so happy we did.

It was informative and nicely laid out but rather short on information. The exhibits were somewhat interactive, children might like it.

Quite expensive so only go up if clear and usually the earlier the better. last week was wonderful weather but as we approached the top station at 17.00 hrs after descending from the mountain for our return back down in the cable car we saw a number of tourists coming up off the cable car with expensive camera equipment some of them only for the mist to clamp down for the night only 2 minutes after their arrival!.

Great fun if you like a short adrenaline rush - and free if you have your own gear! If not you can rent at the hut in season - if it’s closed, ask in the neighbouring bar (meson los llanos). For my liking, there’s a bit too much ironwork - basically staples all the way + the Tibetan bridge. I would prefer some opportunities to actually climb/scramble - but great views. My kids (11 & 13) had a blast - they climb regularly indoors and have done the odd scramble/VF before - so found it straightforward. All done in about 90 mins round trip. Anyone with a head for heights should be ok - and very modest arm strength (if you can’t do say 5 pull ups, you might struggle with the reclipping on the slightly overhung bits). If you can do the short initial test section you should be fine all the way up. Towards the top, here’s a choice of the easy way, the airy Tibetan bridge, or the hard technical route which demands a dynamic move (best avoid if you don’t know what that is). Take a look at the route map on the notice board and it’s all clear. The bar landlady will
explain also (in Spanish) if you need. Needless
to say, if you haven’t done via Ferratas before, get a guide.

Amazing zipline, one 1000 mts and the other is 600 mts. Both father and daughter, Paco and Otilia work together, making this a super special ocasión. We were all together, sabe my father, 9 of us in total, even my father´s wife. Safety first always. Super friendly and serviceable. First class instalations regarding the zipline. Will do again definitely. Wences family in Potes is a very well known name, in fact, we just had lunch and the family hotel and then went to the zipline, to find it was the same family! great all around.
