Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- chocolate123Switzerland225 contributionsA bit a hidden gem. If in the area definitely worth while visiting. You get a leaflet which explains the various rooms. If you speak several languages as for all of them. We found the English and the German version differ greatly. We learnt even more reading both of them!
The best piece is the tower where you climb a spiral staircase. Why you may not go all the way to the top is unclear as the painted walls and ceiling do go all the way. Pity.
And the toilets as per usual without toilet seats :-(
Unless you drive a tiny, tiny car - do not attempt to drive up into the village. It is full of very small streets plus a restricted zone around the castello.Written 29 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The church was full of beautiful stargazer and other lilies, and is obviously taken care of very well. The decoration is stunning, as is typical of so many Italian churches. Worth a visit.Written 3 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
