Some of the other facilities at pembrey include great cycle routes, park for kids and a model railway (was closed on our visit for rides but were a number of model units being maintained to fascinate kids).
My only gripe is that I am paying for lessons, toboggan, which some weeks has been £40 (good value pricing for skiing though) but I still have to pay £2 to get into the park.

The bay is absolutely gorgeous with sand dunes to explore &s a vast reach of sand to walk on, nearby is Oxwich castle which is also well worth a visit, I walked but it has an ample car park.
The sand dunes are a nature reserve with several ponds and marsh areas that house amazing wildlife, there are board walks through the reserve and many rare birds and butterflies visit here.
