Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- HCovikAtlanta, GA3,282 contributionsHeard that this town is pretty upscale for Dutch standards. The downtown isn't much to look at but there are plenty of places to eat or shop. We loved the beach though. Wished we had a bike.Written 26 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Fox_travellingBrussels, Belgium259 contributionsUpon asking at the bar for a snack with my beer, I was recommended to take a bowl of ‘nootjes’ with it. Already excited to crunch into cashews, Shanghai nootjes, peanuts, hazelnuts, or any others kind of delicious little feast, I was presented a small cup with little rice crackers in the colours of the rainbow with some poor ‘borrel nootjes ‘ swimming in the sea of Chinese light crunchies. I frowned and hastily the bar girl offered to fish for more nootjes in the large plastic container behind the bar. I declined, no worries. As long as it crunches with my beer. Enjoyable theatre.Written 1 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Solodam JAmsterdam, The Netherlands34,927 contributionsWell, with two hectares ground, it's quite nice to walk around enjoy the nature in this botanical garden. Thijsse's Hof is the oldest ( 1925 ) Botanical Garden in the Netherlands. There is a red education building on your right side as soon as you enter the garden. Well managed walking path and enough information on the field.Written 22 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Solodam JAmsterdam, The Netherlands34,927 contributionsIt is not only deer you will find in the deer park of Bloemendaal but also cow, chickens, muscovy duck, sheep, bighorn sheep and pigeons. - Solodam JAmsterdam, The Netherlands34,927 contributionsIt is too small to call a "lake" but also bigger than a pond. We've just finished walking around the pond then suddenly we saw something struggled in the water. We saw a bird fought for its life so we decided to rescue him, took him home with us directly and called the animal ambulance. He was back from the shock when the ambulance came two hours later. We're relieved that he was alive.Written 22 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Solodam JAmsterdam, The Netherlands34,927 contributionsThe entrance of Wildhoef Countryside & Garden Pavilion is located not far from the village church. But it is a private property, only accessible to residents. We could only see it from a distance and took some pictures. On the other side of the road there is a pretty nice pond with egyptian geese and some flowers.Written 22 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
