Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nature & Wildlife Areas
What travellers are saying
- Owen DDorchester, UK10 contributionsHaving holidayed in the area before, this was a 'follow the brown signs' visit, just to see what there is. We enjoyed the forest and the view of the river, the Abbey looked interesting, but we were undecided, so took the plunge. A nice welcome in the visitor area and an English audio guide made this historic spot come to life.Written 9 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Newbold81Birmingham, UK59 contributionsVery tranquil walk around nature, there are several different animals to look at, you can even walk with the llamas, the park is split into several different zones divided naturally by lakes and outbuildings.
This park doesn’t claim to be a zoo, so if that’s what you are looking for you are going to be disappointed. However with park in mind this is a beautiful afternoon stroll, with opportunities to purchase gifts and refreshments.
The information signs have very little English, but the lovely lady at the admission stand was happy to help. I spent a relaxing hour here, but do check the website for opening days or times so not to be disappointedWritten 22 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A plastic mat walk way leads onto the beach, when you leave all the sand falls off you feet, which is great. Toilet facilities at the entrance, big car-park, lots of locals and crystal clear sea!Written 9 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - petesaundUnited Kingdom4,007 contributionsThis is one of three places which remind us of the impressionist painter's footsteps in Brittany
La Maison -Musee du Pouldu reminds us of Gaugin's frequent stays here at Buvette de la Plage where he painted Breton and Brittany scenes.Although the museum is not the original buvet but next door to it and has been furnished to reflect the late nineteenth century and in fact you sense you are in that period as it has been so well crafted.Your imagination really does give you an impression of his daily life there.Although there are no impressionist works there are relevant photocopies and the walls are painted with some of his works to reflect how they paid for their board.Written 19 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
