Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A small museum with some interesting Gallo-Roman objects. Right next to the church which has one Roman wall, and near the theatre and the baths which are also visible. Worth a visit

The theatre is sadly not greatly used, but if you get the chance to visit, whether for a show or for a guided tour, it is worth the effort.

The little Belle Époque building is attached to the Casino on the elegant Promenade and has a long history. It is named after the (sadly largely unknown) composer Messager who was born nearby.

This theatre deserves to be known and used more though is clearly loved, as it is in excellent condition and has good acoustics.

Whilst there are no lovely stained glass windows to see (our usual focus), this Romansque church is still worth visiting, primarily because of its beautiful bell tower and interesting capitals. Unfortunately, we couldn't find more information on them, other than they date from the 11th-12th centuries.

In the 11th-12th centuries, the church was built over the ruins of a 4th century Roman basilica, of which only the northern wall remains. It is easily identified as it alternates rows of bricks with rows of small stones (see photo).

The apse, chancel and transpect were built in the 11th century, and in the 12th century, the nave and church tower were completed. The bell tower is octagonal and made of pink sandstone blocks, and decorated with blind arches. The chestnut shingle roof was restored in 1983.

One other interesting feature is the Stations of the Cross are made of enamels painted on glass (see photo).

I love this spa and have found that the best times to go are the quietest. The numbers allowed can make this noisy and not tranquil. Enjoy!
